With Twitter having gone full fascist (and, it is rumored, possibly soon going away entirely), I've been hunting around for an alternative. They all seem terrible, each in its own terrible way.

It occurred to me today: I've got more followers on Goodreads than I ever had on Twitter. And those followers are all readers. And they're engaged. And they're awesome (I presume). And I've largely ignored them.

So why bother with terrible Twitter or any of its various terrible alternatives? I'll just post my random musings and less-random updates here.

So, hello Goodreads! Let's have some... good reads!
