Laura Harner: plagiarist

I have two of Harner's books on my Kobo. They will be deleted and I feel like dipping it in disinfectant after that.

Why do people plagiarize? Why do people defend them when they do and tell people they're being rude when they call the author out on it? This is unconscionable behavior.

To take someone's creative endeavor and claim as your own, profit from it, build a reputation on it, is despicable.

And it is NOT fanfic to change the names and publish it. My roots are in fanfic and this would be plagiarism there too and we come down on it hard in fandom.

My sympathy to the authors affected and I hope you receive an apology and financial redress.
