Tarnished Souls: Tarnished 2
Cassie longs for the touch of her angelic and demonic lovers. She has searched for them for many nights, but their caresses elude her. The longer they are gone, the more her two warring natures are taking over and driving her to seek out other ways to satisfy her hungers.
Will she find the two to quench her growing lust, or will others warriors of heaven or hell descend upon her and heed her call?
EXCERPT
“What have we made you into?” Tristan whispered.
I licked my lips and felt that my canine teeth were sharpened. The demon in me pushed the angel aside. I giggled. It came out more as a growl. I leaned over and kissed his lips. My thoughts tightened around his mind. I poured my desire into him. He arched his back against the restraints, pushing his cock higher, seeking entrance into my wet slit, striving to go deeper still. I closed my eyes and could feel them burning underneath my eyelids. I found it intoxicating. Right now, I desired the man underneath me more than I wanted anything else.
“You made me into everything you ever wanted,” I purred next to his ear. I nipped the end of it. My hand reached underneath me and grabbed his cock. I ran my hand up and down his member. It was more magnificent than I remembered it. Yum. His eyes rolled to the back of his head. His body reacted to my manipulations. I slid him inside of my wet pussy and felt my tail entwine around his legs, with the end of it flicking. I moved up and down on him slowly. My hands dragged over my breasts. I felt so free. It seemed I was everything I was meant to be in that one moment. “Was this what you envisioned? Tell me and I can give you whatever dream you have.”

Which one would you choose?
EXCERPT
I wanted to kiss him. I desired to know if his lips felt like his hands, baby soft. I needed him to hold me and take away the ache in my heart starting to form because he would not wrap his arms around me. My need for him grew, and I wondered if it was because I had been influenced by the demon and maybe it was now my lot in life to attract angels and then corrupt them. Somehow, I thought it was funny. I was now some kind of Venus fly trap in search of angels to prey upon. And yet, when I gazed into the angel’s dark eyes, I needed to be sure I would not fall under his spell because my heart was already lost. I never believed in love at first sight until I met Daniel. It was easy to blame it on him being a demon and he had put a spell on me, but it was not the case; likewise not in this situation. Love was not an issue with this one. I had already fallen for the angel. My soul recognized him to be my kin, and yet, he was so beautiful I never wanted to look away, and I yearned for him to crush me to his chest and make love to me. Was I being selfish?
“So, I guess this whole mysterious thing, appearing out of nowhere, not telling me your name or why you’re here is a trademark and goes with the entire angel gig? Is it against the rules to kiss a girl, too?”

Vampire in the Basement
Tris is one sexy Fallen angel who happens to hunt vampires. Most believe his kind is evil, but he’s actually one of the good guys who happened to be exiled from Heaven. Really, who would want to sit on a puffy cloud all day and watch humans when he can be involved in their lives?
Meanwhile, Daniella has been left to cower in the approaching dawn, praying the hunters won’t discover her. However, the hunters do find her, but spare her life. Her master will stop at nothing to get her back. Tris and Lori have been assigned to protect her. All Tris wants to know is why is she, a vampire, so special he has to keep her safe?
Alone with her, Tris wrestles with his growing feelings, but before he can proclaim them Daniella is spirited away. There is a traitor among the Fallen. Tris must uncover who this is and get Daniella back even if it means laying down his life. What’s an angel to do?
EXCERPT
Tris shoved the pamphlet into his pocket and turned around, forcing a smile. “No, nothing. I wanted to see what you meant by what you said downstairs with…our guest,” he forced himself to say. Hemeil nodded. “You don’t have anything to worry about from her. She’s special. I can see it in her eyes. I’m surprised you can’t.”
“What does that mean exactly?”
The other angel slapped him on the back hard enough that it nearly knocked him over. “You’ll see. Try being nice to her.”
“How could I be nice to that creature?” Tris could not help the quiver of disgust that crawled up his spine.
“Because you judge her by your past; that doesn’t mean she’s the same as the one who lured you to her.”
The memory of the vampire’s face flashed in his mind. Long red curls that framed a round face with innocent eyes. Caillech was the one who had caught his eye, and everything about her had seduced him. Seduced him to the point… He shook his head. It was the past, and he had learned his lesson. He was not going to make the same mistake twice, no matter how much of a beautiful facade the monster put on. She might charm the others, but he had learned his lesson once already, and that was enough.
“They’re all the same. It doesn’t matter if you say she’s different. She’s just like the rest of them.” He walked out of the room and went back to his own. Joe had not told him he had to entertain the vampire, just that he had to watch her and make sure she was taken care of. He could do that, and he would not care in the least if she starved. Tris certainly was not going to provide her with human blood to drink. She would have to do with animal blood. Something in the way of a rat sounded good, or maybe a possum—they were vile creatures—or even a weasel. Something that would keep her going; that was all she needed
Once inside his room, he slammed the door, turned on the stereo, and slipped on his headphones. The music smashed into his ears and vibrated his brain. Korn helped to drown out his thoughts of the vampire in their basement. Caillech’s face popped into his mind. Even with her innocent eyes, her seductiveness had lured him in.

EXCERPT
Humans are fascinating creatures. They don’t know half of their potential,” Razziel answered.
“And this one does?”
He gazed at the pool and tried to come up with a believable response to explain why he was enamored with this particular female. “No.”
Lemiel smiled. “There must be something about her, because you’ve visited this one before.”
“I’m not sure what you mean. They’re all the same to me.”
The other angel clapped him on the back. “Brother, you’ve always been a horrible liar. So tell me, why this female? Unless you don’t mind me finding out for myself.”
“Don’t you dare touch her,” he snapped. Razziel shoved the other angel away from him so that he stumbled and fell into the water. The fury he felt at the comment enraged him, heating his skin. The emotion was uncomfortable and something he was not used to experiencing. He took a deep breath, trying to cleanse the reaction from his system. And yet, when he thought about Lemiel touching Penelope, it only branded the feelings deeper inside his veins.
Lemiel stood up and chuckled. With a snap of his fingers, he was dry once more. “You have feelings for this woman. I can see it in your eyes.”
“Nonsense. Angels care nothing for humans. We watch them, guide them along their paths, and at times intervene when we’re given the order to. We do not form attachments to them.”
“Ahh…but you’re not thinking about the others. All those we’re not supposed to mention.”
Razziel’s eyes widened. He glanced around to see if they were truly alone. “You speak of the Fallen. How could you even suggest I’m in the same category?”
“I’m not, brother, but you may wish to explore the moniker.”
“Why do you say that?”

Adina, looking for acceptance, has come to the Riders hoping for an open position among the Riders. Trouble follows her, no matter how much she tries to hide.
Not able to deny their growing attraction to one another. Each cowboy must face the passion between all three of them. When someone tries to kill Adina, they swear vengeance and go in search of her shooter, only to find that heaven has other plans for these three lovers.

Wes moaned. “Don’t get frisky now. We have to figure out what to do with our guest. And we have to get the glass cleaned up and get her another room while the windows are being replaced. And—”
Samuel placed a finger on his lips. “Why don’t we bring her back to the cabin? We have a spare room. That way we can keep a better eye on her in case the angel comes back and says we’re not doing a good enough job.”
He sighed. Having Adina that close to them wasn’t something he looked forward to. He didn’t appreciate the idea of her being in the next bedroom where she could hear their intimate moments or even them snoring. And Samuel had a tendency to cut a lot of logs while they slept. Sometimes he was so noisy, Wes ended up in the guest bedroom. Now he would have to sleep on the couch.
“I don’t know, Samuel. Having her there might not be such a good idea.”
Samuel slid his fingers down Wes’s shirt and began fiddling with one of the buttons on his fly. “Are you afraid that I’m going to sneak in there while you’re fast asleep and try to make love to her? She is an attractive woman.”
“When did you start having a thing for women?”
His partner shrugged. “I’m not saying I want to fuck her. I’m only saying she’s good-looking. Don’t you think so?”
Wes stepped back from Samuel not believing his ears. He’s gone wacky. This has to be her doing. The man he cared about would never comment on a woman. Normally, Wes filled his ears about how big a guy’s dick was or the latest porn he had been looking at on the Internet. Never about women unless he thought she was a guy in a past incarnation. He wanted to say something, but it was clear Samuel was not in control of his faculties. Instead he walked back into the room. Adina was by the windows staring out at the horses, which were running in the enclosure.
“They’re so beautiful.”
“Yeah, they are. Now undo whatever spell you’ve put on my partner.”
Adina turned her eyes were puffy from the crying she had done before. “I’m not sure I know what you mean. I didn’t do anything to Samuel.”
“Of course you have. You’ve taken my macho, headstrong boyfriend, and turned him into a besotted fool.”

EXCERPT
Jacob followed her inside. She headed into the bathroom and then went into the kitchen to start dinner. She opened her refrigerator. There wasn’t much on the shelves. Shit! This is not turning out to be my day. Well, it’s either cardboard-tasting frozen pizza or takeout. I’m going to vote for takeout. She ran a hand through her hair and closed the refrigerator door. When she did, Jacob was on the other side. She jumped. She hadn’t even heard him walk across the tile.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you.”
She waved the surprise off and forced a smile. “Don’t worry about it. Well, I can throw a frozen pizza in the oven or we can do takeout. I apologize, but I forgot to go to the grocery store and—”
He reached out and caressed her face, silencing her. A puff of energy washed over her from his touch. It was a soft caress that wrapped around her and made her feel calm. He wasn’t going to hurt her. Cecilia began to say something else when his eyes captured hers. He was peering deep into her soul. She knew then that he wasn’t a normal guy. Her gut told her to be frightened of this man, but the power that had wrapped around her, reassured her that nothing bad was going to happen to her.
“Cecilia, you don’t have to cook anything for me. My hunger isn’t for food.” He ran his finger down her cheek. She shivered from the contact. It had been a while since a man had touched her in any kind of romantic way. Sure, her clients hit on her all the time, but they weren’t looking for anything serious. All they wanted was a tumble in the hay with a noncommittal grunt in the morning. Staring at Jacob, she wasn’t sure what he wanted, but the longer she peered into his eyes, the more she realized there was more to him than what he was telling her.
“What do you want?” The answer was apparent when he leaned in and brushed his lips lightly across hers, barely a kiss, but something akin to the merest sweep of a feather across her mouth. She didn’t have time to react before he pulled away. She licked her lips, tasting a slight minty flavor.
“Isn’t it obvious? I want to show you how much I appreciate you saving me from the frothy waters of the deep. It’s the least I can do. And you are a most desirable woman.”
She blushed. “Thank you.” A flush of warmth ran through her when he ran his finger down her neck and along the strap of her tank top. The longer he touched her, the more she knew that he wasn’t normal. When she tried to reach out to her steed, Nala, she was unable to sense her at all.
“I hear the hesitation in your voice. What bothers you?”
She stepped away from him and her head cleared. “What are you?”
His smile dazzled her for a second. The atmosphere lightened and there was a shift in the air. She was a little uneasy with him. He stepped toward her again and reached out to touch her once more, but she backed up until she hit her shoulder on a cabinet door. The pain helped to bring her back to reality.
“I won’t hurt you. I could never hurt the angel who rescued me.”

EXCERPT
“Yeah. Uh. Do you mind getting out so I can get dressed?”
A loud chuckle echoed in the steamy bathroom. “Why? I haven’t seen anything yet.”
Who the hell does this guy think he is? “Maybe so, but I don’t know if you’re a serial killer, an axe murder, or some screwed up guy who likes to kidnap women just for the hell of it and spy on them when they’re in the bathroom. So if you don’t mind, I want to get dressed.”
“Sorry. My house. My bathroom. You should at least let me get a look at you. I don’t think my partner would believe that I walked in on you naked. How could I tell him that I saw this beautiful woman and I wasn’t taking advantage of her?”
His partner? It took a moment for her to realize that the two toothbrushes belonged to two men and not another woman. Taking a breath, she came up slowly and wrapped the towel around her front to stare at the intruder. His lopsided smile lit up his face and a small dimple appeared below his chin. His face was broad with defined cheekbones. A stray piece of blond hair fell across his forehead, giving him a boyish appearance. A few smudges of ash marred his tanned skin. His dark chocolate gaze roved over her body. It burned through her, but she didn’t break his look and give him the satisfaction.
“Like what you see?”
His smile widened. “Yeah. From what I can tell, you weren’t hurt. It was a good thing I was there. If not, you’d have been camper-ka-bob.”
She clasped the towel closer to her body. “Why were you there? How did we get back here? Where are we anyway?”
“Why don’t you get dressed?”
Her stomach gurgled at that exact moment.
He chuckled. “I’ll make you some lunch. Alonzo should be back in a few minutes and he’s always hungry.”
Her stomach turned again. She was famished. She hadn’t eaten much the night before. A flash of heat went through her staring at his smile. Her gaze slid from his face, to his wide chest, and lower. His muscular legs were encased in dark jeans. He was mouthwatering. Everything she would expect to see on a hunky fireman’s calendar. Cheryl is going to be so jealous when I tell her about this. I wonder what his partner looks like.
“Sounds great.” She forced a smile.

“Can I buy you a drink?” he asked.
“I’m good, thanks. I’ve had quite a day and not sure alcohol needs to be involved in it. What about you?”
He chuckled. “I thought men bought drinks for ladies and not the other way around.”
“Ha. I’m no lady.”
Wyatt laughed. “You sure look like one to me.” His lips were only inches from hers.
The pull between them was dizzying. She was already tipsy even though she was stone cold sober. Gathering her self control, she placed a hand on his chest.
“What would you do if I wasn’t?”
His gaze darkened. “You really don’t want to know. If you’re playing around with me, I’ll—”
George felt him go rigid. Crap. “I’m just kidding. Sorry. I’ve had a, uh…well, a fucked up day. Thank you for the dance.” She began to walk away, but he caught her arm and spun her back around.
“I know you were. I was just joshing. I’m sorry you had such a crazy day. We should compare stories. Maybe you can come back to my place and tell me all about it.”
She raised her eyebrows. “You’re awfully full of yourself, aren’t you? Do you honestly believe I’ll go home with you just after one dance and the offer of buying me a drink?”
Wyatt captured her lips in a kiss that caught her off guard. She stiffened before responding. The moment his lips touched hers, she heard thunder rattle everything around her. Static electricity exploded through her. Her head reeled. Before the storm around her could ease, he pulled away. She stood there, lips pursed, frozen, taking her a moment before she realized it was over. When she opened her eyes, he gave her his smug smile.
“Wow. I’ll take that as a yes.”
He stepped closer and reached behind her settling his hand on her waist, but his fingers pressed against the curve of her derriere. “Only if you really want to. I can sense you do. What we have between us is stimulating. A little tumble in the hay won’t hurt either one of us.”
She bit her lip. He’s so fucking fine. I can’t say yes. I normally don’t do stuff like this, but like he said, one night wouldn’t hurt. I don’t think he’s an axe murder and I really need to get today out of my mind. “Do you always use such cheesy lines?”
“Only on the beautiful ones.”

EXCERPT
“I know you’re there. I caught your scent. I’ve watched you dance under the moon.” His voice was like silk against Dante’s skin, with a low resonance that shivered his insides. “Forgive me for not announcing myself as is the custom, but you were so spectacular, I couldn’t take my eyes off you.”
Dante willed himself to human form. The man had still not faced him. Scars striped the stranger’s back. White marks showed the torture this man had endured for someone’s pleasure. “Who are you? Turn around.”
“No, my lord. I can’t reveal myself to you.”
That voice. It nearly made him moan. This other man’s words aroused him so much Dante thought about claiming the other man’s ass. But then the words struck him. “Lord? I’m no lord.”
The other turned his face enough until Dante glimpsed the sharpness of his profile. “But you are. One of the pack, one of lords of the forest. I am here to serve you.” He bowed his head slightly.

Captive Hearts: Shift, Inc. 2
Misha is tired of manning the front desk of Shift, Inc., but when he tries to talk to his brother, Ward, about changing jobs, Ward disappears.
Lark has been trying to meet with Ward to discuss their arranged marriage, but Ward’s been ignoring her, as well. As she’s leaving Shift, Inc., Lark runs into Kele, one of the men she’s been dreaming about, one of her true mates. The other has not shown his face yet. Her tiger roars for Kele while she tries to figure out a way to get out of her prearranged marriage. How can any of this work with her upcoming nuptials to the wolf shifter?
Kele and Misha have been friends for years, but when Misha discloses his vision — that they are all three mates — Kele can’t accept Misha’s revelation. The only one he has seen in his dreams is Lark.
While the three predatory shifters do their best to figure out how to deal with their visions, one question remains.
Where is Ward?
EXCERPT
As Misha took in the crisp air, his wolf quieted some. His anger did not. If he didn’t get his fury under control, he could shift.
This was the kind of behavior he expected from Ward. It just shows he thinks I’m a pup. Maybe he resents my mother. He never interacts with her unless he has to. The man might be the boss, and beloved by many of their clients, but he could be a jackass. Booker was busier than Ward. If Misha called him about something, he answered the phone. If he wasn’t available, he made time to call him back. Heck, he made time to call him at least once a month.
Misha passed through an archway carved out of an enormous hedge. He needed a walk to clear his head.
Before him was a stone labyrinth in a circular design. Benches lined the edges of the maze and other vantage points. This made it possible to sit and contemplate the silence and the beauty of the garden. Beyond the maze was the wall. Most of it was covered in ivy or some other creeping, flowering plant.
Buried in the boughs of the trees were bird houses. The little birds were twittering. He watched a cardinal flick from branch to branch while it looked for its mate. The simple action helped him to let go of some of his anger. Misha took in a breath and focused on the path ahead of him. When he was about to step onto the stones, he saw another person walking in the labyrinth.
Wind billowed the blue skirt the woman wore. A whiff of her perfume danced over to his nose. Something fancy with the slight hint of lavender. Her skin was the color of hot chocolate. She was buxom with her grayish blue top stretching over her curves. Her head was down. The ringlets of her hair covered her face as she looked down, concentrating on each step she took. The way she moved was with the grace of a dancer mixed with a large predator. The breeze brought more of her scent to him. Another predator.
The woman took one specific step after another, following the lines until she was about to take a turn. As she did, she lost her footing and wheeled her arms out to regain her balance.
When she looked up, she saw him.
“See something interesting?”
He stifled a laugh and bit his lip. She didn’t look embarrassed or disturbed at being caught in her fumble. “Nope. Nothing. Sorry.”
Her gaze bored into his eyes, nearly stopping his heart. Misha crossed his arms over his chest as she stalked closer. He couldn’t tear his gaze off the sway of her hips. Something jingled as she walked. The glint of silver around her ankle caught his eye. The anklet wrapped around her bare foot. Her toenails were painted the same color red as her mouth. Those tantalizing lips. She said something again, but his mind had gone blank.
