Need a recap of Daughter of No Worlds and Children of Fallen Gods before the finale of the series? I got you covered.
Hey friends! I am so incredibly excited that Mother of Death and Dawn is so close to release! A few readers have reached out wondering if there's a spoiler-y recap of the previous two books in the series so they can refresh their memories ahead of Mother of Death and Dawn, so I decided to put some together.
These are a bit long and rambly, as apparently a lot happens in these books and/or I'm awful at summarizing (perhaps both!), but nevertheless I hope they're helpful!
And again, note that these are VERY SPOILERY, AKA DO NOT READ if you HAVEN'T already read the books. :)

I hope these are helpful if you feel like you need a refresher!

At long last, Children of Fallen Gods is here!
Hello all!
I've never done this GoodReads blog post thing before (am I doing it right??). But I figured that an occasion this momentous and hard-fought deserved its very own blog post or two.
I'm super excited to share that Children of Fallen Gods is finally (finally) live on Amazon, available in paperback, ebook, and free on KU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083P1NSVC
If you follow me around the internet, I've made absolutely no secret of how absolutely brutally difficult this book was to write. It's a structurally challenging story and the second book in a series, which is just hard on its own, and of course on top of that circumstances of the world were pretty difficult in 2020. My discard folder in Scrivener on this thing was more than 100k words long!! That's longer than entire books!! (On that note, expect some bonus material harvested from that over the next few weeks, I guess...might as well make some lemonade from those lemons, right?).
That said, through all the blood, sweat, and tears, I do feel pretty darn good about the book I'm putting out into the world. I'm so excited to share the next phase of Tisaanah and Max's story with you.
It includes lots of heartbreak, lots of yearning, some steam, some crazy magical monsters, a sentient magical prison, a few gutting betrayals, and the answer to a major mysterious past.
So... lots of good shit!
I hope you love it!
And if you still need to catch up, heads up that Daughter of No Worlds is on sale for 99 cents this week, too! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08...
Happy reading!
