This novel looked promising at the start of my read, but the story was so slow in developing that I couldn't finish it. I think it is grossly overrated. Nothing much happens. Also one tires of the author's dialogue and the poverty of her prose. ...more

It is tiresome reading a Baldacci novel with all the fearsome firepower and explosives. Really over the top stuff! In this novel, the master spy blows up mountainsides and uses mercenary groups with awesome power. When are we going to get real?
