More Frankie to Come!
Thank you everyone for your patience. I took a sabbatical in 2022 to travel the world, hence no 2023 release. But visiting so many amazing and exciting places got me all geared up to write again.
Now, I’m working on the next Frankie book, due out 2024. This time she is on a remote island in the Pacific looking for a young girl who may have been kidnapped—and who happens to be the sister of a notorious serial killer. New Book!
I have a new book for you! I'm very excited to announce the January 19, 2021, publication of my latest thriller, BEFORE SHE DISAPPEARED. For my loyal readers, I'm sure you're already wondering, does it feature D.D.? Flora? Tessa Leoni? The FBI Profilers? In fact . . . none of the above!
Nope. I've written my first standalone novel in twenty years. Meet Frankie Elkin, an everyday, average person who specializes in finding missing people. When the locals have given up, when the media has never bothered to care, Frankie takes on the challenge.
This book was inspired by real-life cases of amateur detectives who've become compelled to solve missing persons cases, particularly in underserved communities where the original disappearance never garnered any national attention. Eight hundred thousand children go missing each year. Frankie is desperate to bring at least one of them home again.
Then there's Piper, the homicidal cat. Dan Lotham, the tough-as-nails Boston detective. And quiet, studious Haitian immigrant Angelique Badeau, who walked out of her high school one bright, sunny Friday afternoon and has never been seen since.
