I’ve spoken many times about how important writing is to my writing process. I finally put together a list of my go-to songs when I need to knock out a lot of words. It’s not long before the bodies start piling up, and the heat is on for the team to make an arrest. Solving the murders will require unraveling dangerous alliances between the city’s dirty magic covens. And if they’re not careful, the new complexities of Morales and Prospero’s own partnership threaten to make a volatile situation downright deadly.

First, thank you so much for your support of my books in the past. So many of you have hand-sold my books to future Wells fans, and I am eternally grateful for that.

Second, you might have heard that I’m self-publishing the rest of the Prospero’s War series. Book four is titled VOLATILE BONDS and releases on September 12. In an effort to provide as seamless a transition as possible for my readers, I am making the books available in print, ebook, and audio.

The good news is that this means your customers who want my books can easily buy them from you. The bad news is that since I don’t have the muscle of a Big Five publisher behind me, it’s harder for me to make sure those copies get to you.

To that end, I am using Ingram Spark as my main distribution channel for print. This allowed me to offer bookstores the highest discount as well as making the books returnable. It may take a bit longer to get them out this way, but in the end, I think this is the best possible option for all of us–especially the readers.
