On Tuesday 17th June, Sarah Waters cut the ribbon for the Fiction Department at the beautiful new Foyles bookshop on Charing Cross Road. She revealed a selection of her top ten Fiction titles (take a look at her 'author picks' over at www.foyles.co.uk/sarah-waters) before signing books.

Sarah Waters has today been announced as a judge for the Baileys Prize First Chapter Competition, in association with Grazia magazine.

The competition launches in this week's edition of Grazia, on sale from Tuesday 8 April, when full details of how to enter will be released.

The winner will be invited to join Grazia editor-in-chief Jane Bruton at the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction award ceremony on 4 June, where they’ll be presented with their prize of £1,000 in front of some of the world’s best novelists, agents, publishers and editors.

Two runners-up will have their story published on graziadaily.co.uk. All three winners will receive the six shortlisted books for the Baileys Women’s Prize for Fiction 2014.
