Here are the Author Testimonials!
Author Henry Millstein:
“This workshop was extremely valuable. Vince Lowry knows his stuff—specifically, he knows about marketing books. I came away from the workshop with a whole systematic program for marketing both my currently published and future books. An added bonus is that the opens to floor to give participants a chance to share their marketing ideas, several of which I know I’ll find useful.”
Author Nancy Strom:
"Vincent Lowry's recent Book Marketing Workshop was very helpful. The group was small, which made me feel like I really got to know the other authors by the time we were finished. Vincent made sure that each of the participants had the opportunity to share successes and failures with our book(s), and allowed us to interact with each other, as well as with him. I came away from the workshop not only with new, interesting, and beneficial information but also with the feeling that I now have new fellow-author friends. This feature is a great bonus, and very much appreciated!
Vincent is a great host, teacher, and moderator."

Book Marketing Workshop 6/6 3:30pm to 5:30pm PST!
Dear Authors!
I've been a group moderator of tens of thousands of authors for over a decade. I have a 33,000 author/reader group here on Goodreads, a 8,000 author/reader group on Facebook, and many followers on my YouTube, Instagram, and Wordpress platforms. As a result of these forums and my experience, I've seen countless postings on authors, books, and promotions. I know what works and what doesn't. Sadly, it's what doesn't work that I see again and again by about 95% of the authors on my groups. Those writers end up disappointed, exhausted, and financially stressed (especially for paid ads that don't deliver). As an author myself, I know how frustrating that process can be.
The goal of my advanced book marketing workshop is to make sure you are a success story by quickly teaching the decade of experience that I have in a single packed course! In other words, in just a few workshop hours, I want to give you the marketing tools that took me over ten years to acquire so you can start selling books right away!
Here is a little story... I had an author who had a new book and wanted to find readers for it (for privacy purposes, let's call this author Sarah). When I let Sarah know about my workshop, she said she don't have the time or money for such a course. She was busy with work a lot and she had bills to pay.
I then saw Sarah spend hundreds of dollars on ineffective book promotions and many hours on marketing strategies that didn't work. I could determine much of this from her website alone and the marketing she was doing (as well as her sales stats on Amazon and Goodreads). I'm not sure who was more frustrated by this result, Sarah or myself because I didn't get a chance to train her! Crazy, right?!
Let's avoid following Sarah's path for your book! If you are going to spend either time or money on marketing, let's do it right and properly train you on the book strategies that work! The testimonials from my workshop (a few are shown below) speak for themselves.

Highway Sign
I see the highway sign
about every time I get on
the car-flooded 405.
It's a government sign
with orange lights set against a black
background--technology that looks it came straight out of the 1950's and has not changed one watt since.
One message stuck with me:
"The cure for litter starts with you."
I found myself wondering who was in charge of this environmental scolding. Was it a middle-aged overweight man behind the desk of some obscure office inside some immense government building?
Or was it some kid fresh out of college who was given the first-rank responsibility of writing prose to commuters who would never truly appreciate his time and noble efforts.
Then my mind pondered on the message itself.
I am the cure to all litter?
I wish that was the case, Mr. Sign Author.
My trash about 95% of the time ends up in the proper place, and yet I still see Big Gulp cups on medians, cigarette butts on street shoulders, and random newspapers and other assorted trash dashing across the road in the wind like a person caught in the nude and seeking cover.
No, the message should read: "The cure for litter starts with the collective whole."
But we know where that leaves us of course.
One bird follows the flock because the folk is all that matters and individual action goes nowhere.
So I acknowledge that the kid did the best he could.
And now someone in front of me throwing a wad of gum outside.

Embers Within
Have the words gone dry from my digital well?
Has the passion drifted from my body,
season washing season,
leaving me with the bare branches of what once was,
a shadow of a cleared forest?
Are there stories left?
Not just pieces,
fractured tales,
random inspirations dripping upon my head
only to evaporate without a trace.
Is five the number for me?
Is that the limit set for this journey
among the stars,
galaxies swirling,
comets blazing?
Am I the man who foresaw his own conclusion?
Or the father who never got a chance to return to the arcade with his son?
Did the music continue to play to my deaf ears?
Perhaps my path was with Lucy's.
A destined tragedy.
We held a light
in the form of words,
but it was in a language no one could understand,
or cared to learn.
Here I stand.
I search the fire
somewhere within.
Embers in the ash of my marrow.
If I can just find enough of them...
If I can find the breath of my inspiration...
It can start all over again.
A blaze.
Word after beautiful word.
Taurus - A Raging Bull.
Target Friday
Embers Within
A new-found forest.

Night Comet
The wrath of this sorrow
This pain
Has blazed this once youthful mind
Into something so foreign
So transformed
That I scarce recognize these thoughts
These implanted feelings
As my own
I somehow awake in the aftermath
Eyes finally wide
Mind finally alert
And search the ruins to find my footing
I cannot rely on the trail taken
By a man younger than the one who wears these shoes
Time’s breath swept that route clear
The unceasing exhale of change and abrupt renewal
To survive is to adapt
Acknowledging the imprudence of resistance
I must build anew upon the foundation of integrity
Alight in veracity’s glow
The steady comet slicing this brilliant star-freckled sky
