No. I don't think they do. But here I am to let you know that I'm not dead. I am, in fact, writing a lot. Just as my OG self and in another genre. Horror and erotica have, at times, gone hand in hand. If you look at such erotic horror books as I Shudder at Your Touch or the Hot Blood series. Even some of my work like
Haunted kind of goes there.

Right now, I'm working on my horrific side, writing books like Go Down Hard and appearing in books like Paranormal Contact, Campfire Macabre, and the upcoming Far From Home to name a few. 

I'm not gone--just switching gears, to a degree. I'm still writing erotica and erotic romance but focusing more on shorter works at the moment. I think we all need to spread our wings. Turns out mine are jet black and veer toward the creepy side of things.

I told you I had news and I'd be back again. So now...I am back with a wonderful, amazing, I couldn't believe it yay!

O Magazine (yes that O) posted an article about Erotic short stories for women by women and um...I was in the lineup! Amazing. Of course, I was in excellent company. So, go read the article and pick up one or three or five or seven of the works listed. You won't be sorry. Not to mention, the holidays are upon us, who doesn't need a little stress relief. Ya know? *wink wink nudge nudge*

And might I say yay! to Rose Caraway of Stupid Fish Productions for curating such a wonderful anthology. Yay!

I cannot fucking believe it's November, first of all. Second of all, I have a lot of things to post about but haven't been on the ball, so to speak.

I work a real actual human job twice a week now, so let's just say I'm adjusting to the change in my schedule.  After about 2 decades working for myself, I don't have very single day all day to accomplish what I want. I am giving (yes, yes, in exchange for money--whatever) two WHOLE DAYS of my week to other people. Trust me, it was a mind fuck. However, I'm working in antiques and since vintage and retro rank right up there with my love of wording, it's all good. I'm learning a lot and it helps my online vintage shops and my writing as well. It's fun. Except for waking up in the dark. That is not fun.

Anyway, I'm here to driveby of good news number one. I was in Dirty Thirty Volume Three (it's just as gorgeous as 1 and 2, might I say) with my story Wet Rewards. It's edited by the amazing Rose Caraway of Stupid Fish Productions. If you want a gorgeous volume of fiction that's as pretty as it it dirty, this is for you.

While I'm here, I'll mention that I have added to my weekly schedule. What did I add? A part-time job! Partly from necessity, this business isn't what it once was, sadly. Partly from love, I'm working with vintage and antiques and I love that. Whatever the reason, it's an adjustment. I haven't worked for anyone who wasn't me for almost two decades. I'm like...whaaaaat? :) Why am I so tired and why can't I feel my feet anymore? :)

So wish me luck, and remember, my body, brain, and spirit are adjusting to working for 'the man' again (heh). So if you email me, give ma wee bit of extra time because of all the exhaustion and crying.

Kidding.

The Mighty Quinn. Get it

Good afternoon! Yesterday, I got my new cover for my upcoming novel. I've been waiting and waiting.  Of course, I was out and about and way far away from a computer. It was my 3rd anniversary with The Bearded Giant (yay!) and we were out galavanting. This included gluten free Chinese food, thrift shops --big and small, and a hole in the wall book shop where I scored big.

So let's get to the good stuff--my new cover for my brand new novel coming out the end of this month from Blushing Books.

And while I'm here I'll show off my anniversary gift. A haunted bird house made by TBG for moi. Oh, and my spoils from that tiny bookshop. It looked like no one every perused the horror section. Then I showed up and went mental all over it, oohing and ahhing and snatching things up. #crazywoman



One of the sweetest gifts I've ever gotten. If only I could fit in there. It's my dream house...

If only I could read a book with each eye I could double up...

I'm here just to woohoo. Soon, we're going to get girl child from the end of her second year of college. I can't fucking believe that! But before I start packing and making lists and going mad, I wanted to wave this little pic around and say yay! Praise and good ratings for Go Slow on iTunes FTW.


Another reason to yay is I have a BRAND NEW novel coming out at the end of this month. BRAND. NEW. NOVEL. 

This is my first new novel since 2016 and I'm very very VERY excited. I hope to have a cover soon and the exact release date. In the meantime, happy weekend!
