Fallen Wishes (Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper 17) is out now!
Just in time for the haunted holidays, there's a new Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper mystery available!
In this one, Ellie visits another Southern city full of live oak, centuries-old mansions, and ghosts—Charleston, South Carolina, where she and Stacey investigated a haunted historic plantation known for its breathtaking gardens adorned with statuary and architectural follies. An old wishing well deep within the gardens attracts trespassers drawn by local legends of its power. I was fortunate to be able to visit Charleston and tour locations like Middleton Place and Magnolia Gardens for some historical research and inspiration on this one.
As usual, I will release the book everywhere for the benefit of those readers who really want it on Nook or Apple instead, but after about 30 days it will become exclusive to Amazon so it can go into Kindle Unlimited.
I hope you enjoy it! I'm now deep into writing the next Ellie book, Sunset House, and expect it to be ready in January or February, so watch for news about that one, too!
After that, I'm planning to add another Ellie Jordan and then another book to the werewolf series, The Night Folk, which is sort of the “side” project right now but one I'm really enjoying. I expect Night Folk to be a limited series, maybe three to five books.

Do you like werewolves?
I hope you answered "yes" or at least "sometimes, I guess?" because my new book Sable comes out this week. The main character, Alice, is a werewolf trained by an ancient order to hunt other, more malevolent members of her own kind.

I'm very happy to announce that the latest Ellie case, Midnight Movie, is now available! This one features a haunted drive-in movie theater and a young family struggling to restore it. This was so much fun to write and I'm excited for everyone to read it!

Starting this month, the Ellie Jordan series will be available to read through Amazon's Kindle Unlimited program for a period of at least 90 days. Many readers have asked me to try this out. This also means the ebooks will not be available on other retailers during that time.

Readers For Retts Event Invite
Author Rae Z. Ryans and AimeeKay from AimeeKay's Reviews are co-hosting Readers for Retts Awareness! The event was created to help spread the word about Rett's Syndrome and give people a chance to meet the girls suffering from this awful disease and their families. Now, onto the details of the event: Currently they are seeking authors, bloggers, Rett families, and small businesses to help us spread the word about Rett Syndrome. They are looking for people interested in opportunities to host families, hold interviews, and spread the word about this disease affecting families and their daughters. Also, Rett's girls(or their families) will be paired with sponsors who will offer giveaways on their behalf.
Some quick facts about Rett Syndrome:
—Debilitating neurological (movement) disorder that predominantly affects females. (Boys generally die from it because of the genetics involved)
—Baby girls are born "normal" but begin to lose acquired skills between the ages of 1-3 years old.
—Caused by a single gene mutation that leads to underproduction of an important brain protein.
—The leading genetic cause of severe impairment in girls - most cannot speak, walk or use their hands.
—Despite their physical disabilities, girls with Rett Syndrome are believed to be functioning mentally at a much higher level than previously thought.
—As prevalent as Cystic Fibrosis, ALS and Huntington's.
—Another little girl is born with Rett Syndrome every 90 minutes.
—Rett Syndrome is a potentially REVERSIBLE disorder. Research has proven once protein levels are back to normal levels, symptoms subside.

Inferno Park, which I've been writing and revising since late 2013, is now available on Amazon in Kindle and paperback! This is a book close to my heart that reaches deep into my own childhood memories and experiences, so I hope you will check it out!Here's the book description:
