“How would you like to be the one tied up by some dart-wielding wolf-whisperer?"
"I wouldn't get tied up. We'd have the same advantages, so we'd appreciate our mutual skills, and I already told you, Galt is only half wolf.”
Claira Teichroeb

“Come with me, my friend,
For the dusk has fallen down.
Let us travel to a place,
A fable, most believe,
Held highly in renown.”
Claira Teichroeb, The Valley of the Poet: a collection of poems

“I hauled myself through the window and onto the lush floor, standing so we were both bathed in the silken moonlight.
“Quarralia, I am here to rescue you.”

The second one was still”

“I want to drink the stars.
I want to feel their light course through me,
Run sparkling through my veins.”

“Once upon the dawn of time, there was water.

Before the stars, before the Maker set life into earth, life into lungs, beast or man to roam . . . there was water.”
