B.C. Levinson grew up in Texas and was an accountant for 14 years. In 1999 her daughter was diagnosed with Bipolar 1 Disorder and her family's lives were changed forever. After years of living with this disorder in her life she became determined to share her experiences from a mother's perspective.

Living through this experience has taught her that Bipolar Disorder is fraught with misunderstanding and the unnecessary pain created by a long held stigma. It is her hope to help change that through sharing her story as well as encouraging others to share theirs.

Becky enjoys devoting time via Twitter ( @ BIPOLARSMOM2 ) providing support and encouragement to the cause of Bipolar Disorder one friend and one HUG at a time.
