We have a few hours until the giveaway is over, but I wanted to thank in advance all those who entered. When I set up the dates, which were meant to be in proximity to All Souls' Day (Nov 2), I didn't realize the date was coinciding with the American election. I will be glued to my tv through the evening, but look forward to putting the winners' copies in the mail.

I was really moved by the interest in the book and hope that readers find the book, be it in their local library, loaned from a friend, or purchased.

I just wanted to thank everyone who entered the last All Souls' giveaway. The three winners have had their books mailed off. I was so encouraged by the response that I've set up another giveaway for later this month, trying to be as close to All Souls' Day as possible.

My seventh collection of poetry, All Souls', is now on the shelves of independent bookstores -- hurray indies! Had wonderful launch events in Winnipeg at the Thin Air Writers' Fest, and in my home town of Vancouver, with two amazing friends and colleagues, Annabel Lyon (launching The Sweet Girl) and Linda Svendsen (launching Sussex Drive). Feels great having the book in my hands.

My new book of poetry will be published in Fall 2012. All Souls' is coming out with Signal Editions/Vehicule Press and I had the great privilege of being edited by Carmine Starnino, an extraordinary experience. Hope readers get a chance to peek at it once it's on bookshelves. RT

I've just signed up for GoodReads and think it's a great website. So fascinating to see what people are reading, and what they think of the books. I'm not much of a blogger, but am happy to be part of this community.
