“...any guy can buy you flowers, but the one who buys you hemorrhoid cream must really, really love you.”
Risa Green, Notes From The Underbelly

“Now, look, I didn’t have any delusions that I would be some granola freak who just looooooves motherhood, but I had no idea that I would be crying all day long, and that I would be having regular fantasies about sending her back, either.”
Risa Green, Tales from the Crib

“generation. But now that so many women are putting off having babies until their thirties and forties, becoming a mother often means giving up a lifestyle, and we feel guilty when we miss that lifestyle.”
Risa Green, Tales from the Crib
