Deciphering Your Bouquet
Did someone send you flowers for Valentine's Day? It's widely known that a red rose symbolizes passionate love, but what if your bouquet contains something...different?
Just in case, I've compiled a list of a few things you might have received, and what it means if you did.
If your true love sent you a clump of Coriander, then you're in luck! Yep, coriander means your lover lusts for you! Lucky You!
Does your bouquet include Baby's Breath? Those cute little dots of white symbolize everlasting love. This is good.
Carnations in your bouquet can mean any number of things. In general, they symbolize bonds of affection. Pink ones say he'll never forget you. Red, says, his heart aches for you. (sounds kinda like a funeral to me). White one symbolize pure love. Beware if you get striped ones. They mean sorry, I can't be with you, or yellow ones - Rejection!
I've never seen these, but if you get them, they may not come with a card because Acacia's symbolize a secret love!
Generally speaking, any kind of flower, as long as it's red or pink, symbolizes love.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Jenna Ives - Interview & Giveaway - Snow White and Her Seven Lovers
2012 may well be Snow White's best year ever. With two movies coming out - Snow White and the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth, and Mirror Mirror with Julia Roberts and Lily Collins Ms. Ives has chosen the perfect time to give this time-proven fairy tale a well-needed face lift!
And oh, what a face lift it is!
Read on to see how you can win your very own copy!
Blurb - What's a girl to do when she wakes up poisoned in the ER and finds that she's lost her memory, her family, and very nearly her life?
That was me. Three months ago. With no identity, no money, and nowhere to go on the day I was discharged from the hospital, I gratefully accepted my gorgeous ER doctor's offer to move in with him and his equally gorgeous six friends – the ones who'd found me unconscious in an apple orchard. My plan was to stay until my memory returned, and I could figure out who I was and if someone really had tried to kill me.
Together with Doc, these were an amazingly diverse bunch of guys, but there was something about each of them that attracted me powerfully enough to want to explore it. The policeman with his clever handcuffs. The cunningly linguistic librarian. The disciplinarian teacher. The virgin computer whiz who loved to play sex games. The engineer who created shotgun orgasms. The wildly imaginative baker.
Becoming intimate with these seven men completed me in ways I suspected discovering my name never would. That is, until the fateful day a man showed up claiming to be my fiancé...
Over the last few years, I've had the pleasure of meeting quite a few romance authors, but few share my crazy sense of humor. As you can see from the blurb for Snow White and Her Seven Lovers, Ms. Ives has a vivid imagination. She also has a great sense of humor, so I pulled out all the stops when I interviewed her.
All the questions were fill in the blank, so...
Help me welcome Jenna Ives!
1. My favorite Reality TV show is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I love the idea of having nothing to do but spend lots of money and go to parties. Not likely to happen tho, LOL!! Now who wouldn't want that life? But I'd rather do it without the drama and the TV cameras!
2. My all-time favorite movie is City Of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage. (But there are so many others I love!) I don't think I know this one. Gotta go check it out now. I do love Meg and Nicholas, so I'm thinking I'm gonna love it. Netflix, here I come.
3. Worst haircut I ever had was right before my high school senior photo. GAK! I wanted to look cool and ended up looking dorky. So not me. I'm not laughing. Promise. Yeah, that's a lie. I'm LMAO.
4. Biggest mistake I ever made was above-mentioned haircut. Did I mention that photo will live forever in my yearbook?? Which high school was that? I don't remember you saying...
5. I once set my parents' garage on fire. Totally an accident. (Hi, Mom! Really, it was an accident.) Uh huh. Riiiigghht.
6. I'd eat frogs legs if they were coated in chocolate. I'm not sure I'd go that far, but I do love chocolate.
7. The worst vacation I ever took was to Eleuthera, in the Bahamas. I woke up one night with a palmetto bug (one of those giant cockroaches) trying to crawl into my mouth. YUK! Eewwww! Gross! Crossing that off my list of travel destinations!
8. I remember when there were vinyl records. Really? You're that old? LOL
9. Last book I read for fun was Death Comes To Pemberley by P.D. James. I'll read anything related to Jane Austen/Elizabeth Bennet! I'm a big Jane Austen fan too.
10. If I could change bodies and lives with anyone on the planet, I'd switch with Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge. Who wouldn't?? She's down-to-earth and elegant at the same time. Great choice! I wouldn't mind being her sister. Same good looks, and a whole lot less responsibility.
11. You couldn't pay me to become a politician. Me either.
12. The worst job I ever had was as a candy-striper, cleaning out bedpans at the local hospital. Yeah, you don't have to say any more about that. We get the picture!
13. The most important thing I learned in first grade was how much I loved stories! I became a writer as a result. And were those stories you loved fairy tales by any chance?
14. If I could stop Godzilla from destroying my hometown by feeding him one person, I'd give him Charlie Sheen, and good riddance. We've had enough of this tiger-blood warlock! I think you'd have a lot of help with this one!
15. I'd rather be reading than answer these questions. LOL Thanks for being such a good sport! You can go back to reading now while we talk about you behind your back and discuss SNOW WHITE AND HER SEVEN LOVERS. Just kidding. You can hang around if you want!
Here's my review of SNOW WHITE AND HER SEVEN LOVERS
I haven't read fairy tales since my girls were little, but for this, I made an exception. Ms. Ives has taken the classic Snow White tale, given it a modern setting and stripped the heroine of her innocence, making all kinds of things possible. This version is an adult romp through a fantasy every apple eating woman would like to have! Ms. Ives rendition is clever and fun, and surprisingly believable, in a quirky sort of way. You'll smile, giggle, and reach for a fan, or maybe a favorite toy, all at the same time. I haven't had this much fun reading an erotic romance in a very long time.
Get to know Jenna Ives - Jenna Ives has the typical problem that affects a lot of modern authors — multiple personality disorder. She writes for several publishers under a variety of names, but mostly the reason is to keep her poor mother (who used to read sweet romances by Barbara Cartland) from having a heart attack over how sexy modern romances have become! And Jenna certainly DOES write sexy…

Sunday Stories Blog Hop - 1/29/12
Thanks for stopping by on the Sunday Stories Blog Hop!
Here's a snippet from my latest release, INSIDE HEAT.Jeff has just come home and found Megan in the pool with his twin brother, Jason.
"I see you started without me." The voice was near identical to Jason's, but there was something about the way he delivered his words that sent her libido into overdrive. Everything that came out of his mouth sounded like a sensual caress, a forbidden touch. Sex. Hot, steamy, fuck me now, sex, and …love. Fabric slid against fabric. The rasp of a zipper seemed muted by the thick, moist air. She didn't have to turn around to know that in a minute, Jeff would have his clothes neatly folded and placed well out of the way of splashing water. "You're late," Jason replied. "Maybe she doesn't want you."The splash from Jeff's sleek dive barely registered on the surface, but below, a tidal wave washed between her body and Jason's. Jeff surfaced behind her. His breath fanned along her spine as he placed hot kisses from the water line to her nape. Then he was there, his heat pressing against her back. His erection nudged her lower back, sending a shaft of longing through her. Megan shuddered with desire as Jeff's hands rested on her shoulders and, aided by the slickness of the water, slid along her arms to her wrists. Long, competent fingers shackled the delicate bones there. She loosened her hold on his brother and let Jeff pull her hands up, placing her palms on top of her head, bringing her breasts above the water line. His hands stroked back the way they'd come, past her shoulders, along her back and then around to cup her breasts. He massaged gently at first, then he found her nipples. He pinched the sensitive nubs between his thumb and forefinger, tugging and applying pressure until she cried out. A lightning bolt shot from her nipples straight to her pussy making her clench hard around Jason's cock."Ah, Christ, Megan!" Jason cursed through gritted teeth. "Not yet, baby. It feels too good.""Finish him, sweetheart," Jeff crooned, his lips moving over the shell of her ear as he continued to torment her breasts. "Get him off, and then it'll be just you and me. I'll make you feel good, I promise."

Six Sentence Sunday 1/29/12

Today I've chosen six from my latest release, INSIDE HEAT.Enjoy!
"Relax, sweetheart. Let us love you," Jeff crooned against her ear as his hand pinioned her hips against the cushion. She opened her eyes and looked straight into Jeff's face, hovering inches above hers. Their gazes locked. Something transpired between them in that moment. Something she didn't understand, but something she wanted to reach for with her whole being.

Weekend Dirty Dozen 1/27/12

Here's a snippet from my wicked little short story -MAKING IT ON BROADWAY
In this scene, Broadway's premier choreographer Carmine Romero choreographs an impromptu sexual encounter between Chase and Haylee in a corner booth of a busy NYC deli. Can Chase bring Haylee to orgasm using just his fingers? Can Haylee orgasm without giving away whats going on beneath the tablecloth?Think, Meg Ryan in When Harry Met Sally, only the orgasm is real!
"Spread your legs, sweetheart," Carmine instructed. "Give Chase room to work."Her thighs fell open. "Make her come, Chase."Chase glanced around the room, and over his shoulder at the people on the street, going about their business. If anyone stopped near the window, they'd be able to see Haylee's pussy, and Chase's hand on her. "That's half the fun," Carmine said, accurately reading the thoughts on Chase's face. "The element of possible discovery." Carmine winked at Haylee. "And watching her come without betraying her condition to everyone around. How good of an actress are you, Haylee?""We're about to see," she declared.

Guest Post by Tori St. Claire

As soon as I saw this cover, I knew I had to have Tori St. Claire over to play! She's brought us a sizzling excerpt from her new release, STRIPPED. Tori will be giving away a $25 Amazon Gift Card at the end of the tour, so make sure to leave a comment to put your name in the hat. And remember to stop in at her other blog stops too. Each time you comment you increase your chances of winning. Did I mention she's going to give a Gift Card to the blogger with the most comments? No? Well, she is, so please leave a comment so I can win!!
Thanks, Tori for stopping by to chat. Your heroine, Natalya sounds like a kick-ass, take names later, kind of woman. How much of her, if any, stems from Tori St. Claire?
You know, I'd love to have a mile-long list of qualities Natalya and I share, but the uninteresting truth, the plain old boring reality of me, is we have nothing in common.
I'd like to even be able to say that she's the type of woman I'd like to be, or she's repressed qualities of my ego… laugh! Nope. Natalya just "appeared" in my head. I would have to say if she has any qualities of mine, it's her loyalty to her sister, and her depth of heart.
Someone recently told me when I was telling them about a character I'm working on presently, "It will be interesting to see your definition of a bitch, because you are the most un-bitchy person I know."
While I don't have any siblings, I'm loyal to a fault to those I care about. Which has led me on some interesting excursions in life, and given me a lot of bruises as I've had to learn hard lessons about human beings and the world we live in.
I would honestly have to say that if there's a character I'm like at all in Stripped, it would be Kate. There's a line in there she says along the lines of, "You expect me to lie to my friends?" – that would totally be my reaction if I were in her circumstances. But with her back against the wall, she does what she has to do to protect herself and her little boy. And beneath all that, there's a deep love for her fraternal twin, so when Natalya needs aid, Kate's more than willing to help.
There's probably a bit of me in Brandon as well, strange as it may sound. He has the inherent belief in goodness, despite all he's seen. It's not a blatant theme in Stripped, it's only present between the lines. He's also more "straight and narrow" than Natalya, even though they share backgrounds in undercover work. He's also from my home town ;)
But going back to Natalya, she is indeed, a kick-ass, take names later, kind of woman… before she gets to Las Vegas. Those qualities are still present inside her, but by the time she meets Brandon, she's at a precipice and becoming aware of the life she's been leading. To stay alive, she can't shed the very traits and skills that have kept her alive all these years. Still, she's not entirely certain she likes the woman she sees when she looks in the mirror.
Now, I'm curious – what about all of you? Who, out of the books you've read, is your favorite heroine, and briefly, why?
Thanks for having me here today – it's been a lot of fun!

Blurb -
Willfully stubborn, innocently courageous, Callie Whitcomb braves a journey through the treacherous highlands to the MacPherson castle. Callie flees from an unwanted marriage as well as her ruthless half brother. Naively she believes Colin MacPherson, the head of the clan, is loyal to her father and will give her sanctuary, protecting her from the vile plans that have been made for her.
As hard and as unyielding as the winter storms that sweep through the countryside, Colin is irresistibly drawn to the impetuous beauty who has magically appeared on his doorsteps. Despite his vows of revenge against her father, she stirs his passion as well as his sense of justice...but to love her would violate all his vows of revenge.
Grab a cool drink and a Cabana boy with a fan, if you can find one because here's that excerpt I promised .
"Tell me what you want, beautiful." His breath rasped over her cheek. Featherlight kisses accompanied the whisper, trailing across her skin in a taunting path toward her mouth.
Kiss me. She turned her head in search of lips she instinctively knew would be warm, the words on the tip of her tongue. Kiss me until I don't care whether I live or die.
Honesty. Just once.
He caught her lower lip with his teeth, the nip nowhere near gentle. But the lazy stroke of his tongue soothed the stinging bite. She parted her lips, dipped her tongue out to touch his.
Brandon's body tightened like a whip. The pressure in her lower back increased as his fingers curled into her skin. Their breaths mingled. The tips of their tongues met in a slow, sensual dance. As another spasm of ecstasy threatened to send her tumbling into his solid chest, she braced her hands on his shoulders.
And then Brandon was gone, the magic of his fingers disappearing as he stepped back and set both hands on her waist. His gaze scorched in to flood her body with tingles. He waited, his question unspoken, but hanging between them.
Tell me what you want.
Clearly he intended to make her admit she wanted to feel him deep inside her. Wanted to experience the slide of his bare skin against hers. And God, how she wanted to kiss him. To taste the desire that burned in his gaze and the indescribable flavor of hot, aroused man.Confessing might lead her to an early grave, but for once, her conscious would be clear. She swallowed hard and dug deep for the courage that had kept her alive these last three years. His gaze followed the sweep of her tongue as she moistened her lips.
"Kiss me." Her senses honed in on her whisper, amplifying it and the ragged fall of their mutual breathing. She became aware of every minuscule sound as she waited for Brandon to either dip his head and honor her request, or shove her aside with a wicked sneer.
He took a step closer, bringing their bodies in contact from chest to toes. One arm wrapped around her waist, then slid up her back to offer support between her shoulder blades. The other tangled in her hair, tipping her head back. Putting her where he wanted her—subtle dominance that thrilled her in places she hadn't known existed. Her womb clamped hard, sending another rush of moisture through her pussy.
His mouth descended. Warm lips played against hers, drawing her into the spell his body wove. Pulling her in so deep she struggled for air.
The sudden, brassy ring of her cell phone jolted her out of hazy desire. She froze. With Kate and Sergei due to arrive at Fantasia any minute, there could only be one other person calling at this time of day—Dmitri. It would be almost one in the morning in Moscow. The time Dmitri put aside his work and crawled into bed. He'd want to talk before he slept.
"Don't answer that," Brandon whispered against her mouth.
Damn if those lips weren't compelling. She'd had his mouth on her breast, knew the incredible magic his tongue could create there, but had yet to experience the tantalizing slide of his tongue against hers. The need to feel his mouth on hers, to get lost in his potent masculinity pressed her to ignore the ringing tones.
Duty, however, rose up screaming. If she didn't answer, Dmitri would get suspicious.
"I have to."
A bit about Tori (since she claims Natalya isn't her in disguise).
Tori St. Claire grew up writing. Hobby quickly turned into passion, and when she discovered the world of romance as a teen, poems and short stories gave way to full length novels with sexy heroes and heroines waiting to be swept off their feet. She wrote her first romance novel at seventeen.
While that manuscript gathered dust-bunnies beneath the bed, she went on to establish herself as a contemporary, historical, and paranormal author under the pen name, Claire Ashgrove. Her writing, however, skirted a fine line between hot and steamy, and motivated by authors she admired, she pushed her boundaries and made the leap into erotica, using the darker side of human nature and on-the-edge suspense to drive grittier, sexier, stories.
Her erotic romantic suspense novels are searingly sensual experiences that unite passion with true emotion, and the all-consuming tie that binds -- love.

New Release - Making It on Broadway

I'm pleased to announce the release of my wicked little short story, Making It on Broadway. This one is guaranteed to thaw you out on a winter's day!
Blurb -
Haylee Daniels has landed a role in a Broadway musical about a down on her luck dancer who'll do anything for another chance at Broadway stardom. The only problem is, Haylee has never danced a day in her life.
Thankfully, she has Chase Nolton, her leading man, and Broadway's premier choreographer, Carmine Romero to teach her all she needs to know. When Carmine suggests she dance nude in order to better understand a dancer's body, Haylee fears she may be as desperate for Broadway stardom as her character.
This is a highly erotic short story about three people who find love and make it on Broadway.
Excerpt -
"Strip." Haylee looked up from studying the studio's polished hardwood floor to the wall of mirrors in front of her. Two hard masculine faces reflected over her slumped shoulders. Frustration carved deep lines around their eyes. She avoided looking at her own reflection, knowing she'd find the same lines on her own visage. The lines had been there for two weeks, ever since she began working with Carmine Romero, Broadway's premier choreographer – now her dance instructor. Why had she ever thought she could do this? She could act. She could sing, but dance? No. That had never been one of her talents. "What?" "Take your clothes off." Chase Nolton, her leading man, and Carmine's partner in these torture sessions grinned. "That's what the word usually means." "I know what it means. I just don't understand why, or how it applies in this instance." Carmine came to stand between her and the mirror. He was older than Haylee by a few years, not enough to matter, but his expertise as a choreographer was renowned. He rarely took on individual students, especially ones with zero dance experience. She was lucky to be working with him, and she knew it. "Look, Haylee. We've been at this for two weeks. You still move like a Barbie doll." Haylee bristled at the insult. "I'm not a dancer." "I get that, but Madeline is, and that's who you have to be on stage. The opening number takes place in the strip club where she's working to pay the bills. She's broke and desperate, and she thinks she has nothing left to offer but her body." "But she never takes all her clothes off," Haylee pointed out. "No, she doesn't, but she's stripped bare, none-the-less. So that's where we're going to begin, by stripping you bare. From now on, you'll dance nude." Haylee shook her head. "Think about it. Madeline has nothing left but her body. No money. No career. No pride. She's willing to do anything for that one last chance to be a star, including give her body to a man she hardly knows if he'll give her a part. She's a dancer. She understands her body, how it moves, how it feels, how to make it do what she wants. You have to be Madeline. You have to learn these things about your body in order to portray her. I think this is the only way we're going to get to that point, by removing everything you're hiding behind." Haylee stood statue still, cataloguing Carmine's face. He was right about Madeline. Even though she was never totally nude on stage, she was exposed. Her every insecurity was on display. In that way, she was truly naked. "I don't see how taking my clothes off will make me a better dancer." "It will allow you to learn how to use your body, how to make it move the way Madeline would make hers move. Without clothing to hide behind, you'll be more aware of your body, like a dancer is all the time. Chase and I will show you how to use your body to seduce the audience into believing you're a dancer, believing you are Madeline." Haylee looked around the basement room. Two small windows at street level had been painted over to prevent prying eyes. Other than that, there was only the one door. If they locked it so no one could come in, could she do it?
"Take your shirt off, Haylee," Carmine coaxed. "You have a bra on, correct?" "Yes." She bit her lower lip. Her bra covered more than her swimsuit top. What harm would there be in taking her shirt off? "Just my shirt?" "For now," Carmine said with a shrug. "Then we shall see." She tugged the oversized T-shirt over her head and tossed it into the corner where her tote bag and water bottle sat. The room was cold; a necessity when they were moving around the room learning dance steps, but just standing there, the cool air raised goose flesh across her exposed skin. Carmine moved to stand behind her. He put his hands around her ribcage, something he'd done dozens of times in the last two weeks, but there had always been fabric between them. This was different. Heat seared her where he touched. "Lovely, but I think the shorts need to go too." Haylee hesitated. "Take them off, Madeline." Calling her by her characters' name did something to her. Suddenly, she wasn't Haylee anymore. She was Madeline, a stripper. "Madeline uses her body. She knows she looks good. She knows men want her." Carmine's breath brushed against her ear as he spoke. His hands skimmed her exposed flesh, warming her, heating her blood. "Take them off, Madeline." Haylee slid her thumbs beneath the stretchy waistband and pushed. Carmine's hand was there to take the garment as she stepped out of them, leaving her in her bra and panties. She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. She'd worn less on camera. The bikinis she wore for the pool scenes on her Hollywood Sit-com were smaller than what she had on now, but somehow she felt more exposed than she had then. Behind her, Chase Nolton stood, looking her over with appreciative eyes. Carmine's voice snapped her back to the task at hand. "Much better." His hands covered her hips. Big, heated hands molded her curves. "Move, Madeline." He guided her movements with gentle pressure from his hands. "More. Close your eyes and see Madeline on stage. She wants to impress the man who can give her another chance at a career in the theatre. If he wants her body, he'll give her that chance." Haylee stumbled as Carmine pulled her hard against him. "Here. Feel it, Madeline. Feel my body move, move with it." Haylee concentrated on the movements of Carmine's body, mimicked the roll and sway of his hips. "There. That's it," he crooned over her shoulder. "You see him, sitting there, watching you, wanting you? You need him. Not his body – his influence. He can do things for you, and all it will cost you is your body. Nothing more. You can give him that, let him lie with you, let him fuck you, without giving him anything else." Haylee moved her hips in concert with Carmine's. For the first time in her life, she felt like she was dancing, even though her feet hadn't moved and inch. Maybe she could do this after all. "Give him what he wants, Madeline. Make promises with your body. Promise him he can taste your breasts."Her eyes flew open as fingers flicked the front clasp of her bra, setting her breasts free. Chase Nolton stood before her, bare-chested, wearing a knowing grin. She lost Carmine's rhythm as she stared into Chase's eyes. Desire, barely banked, lurked behind those indigo irises. Her heart skipped a beat. Is this what Madeline felt when men watched her dance? Powerful? Desired? Is this how she stripped for a living? "Madeline," Carmine whispered near her ear. His hands tightened on her hips, forcing her back into the rhythm of the dance. "This is what you want, isn't it? You want this man, this influential man to want you. You'll do anything – let him do anything if he'll put you back on stage. If he'll give you a chance to dance. So close your eyes and dance, Madeline."

Dianne Venetta - Lust on the Rocks

Victor Marin has ulterior motives. The defendant in her case holds the key to his revenge, and his last chance for justice. But as he chases old demons, he uncovers a powerful woman with no inhibitions, one he wants to possess for himself. But decidedly single, Sam wants no part.
Until Vic walks away.
Hi, Dianne! Welcome to my little piece of virtual real estate! Thanks so much for stopping by. I'm a big fan of any book with the word 'lust' in the title. <grin> LUST ON THE ROCKS sounds like it deals with some big issues, so... I'd love to hear how your heroine deals with the double standard when it comes to women engaging in casual sex.
Great topic—for an entire book, in fact! Yes, that's exactly what my heroine Samantha Rawlings deals with throughout my novel, Lust on the Rocks. Her position is simple: she's a successful attorney at the top of her game, rivals most men in both intellect and drive, is uninterested in marriage or children—is she expected to live a life of celibacy because women can't sleep around?
Hardly. It's not realistic. Shoot, these days it doesn't seem realistic to expect our teens not to engage in sex let alone a grown woman. But if we don't expect her to be celibate, how far can she go? Er—eh, hem. Let me rephrase: How far will society allow her to go without labeling her in derogatory terms?
Now I'm not suggesting that it's an outdated notion for a woman to remain modest in intimate relations. She's the keeper of the gate so to speak, and her choices can lead to serious consequences should they go awry, ie. pregnancy. Sure unplanned pregnancies also affect the man involved, but not to the extent they affect the woman. It's her body we're talking, not his. And while we retain the power of choice, I don't believe anyone is eager to actualize the choice.
That said, Sam is fully aware of her role when it comes to the decision-making process regarding casual sex. Generally speaking, women decide how far the intimate relations will go, not men. (They'll go as far as we let them!) So what does a woman who enjoys sex do?
Limit herself to long-term relationships because others have opinions on how she should conduct herself? How many partners she should entertain? Let's be honest. A man in her same position wouldn't be limited. He'd be lauded as a stud, a man of virility.
Hmph. Not in Sam's world. She eschews old-fashioned notions regarding a woman's role in sexual relations. She sees a man she wants, she goes after him. When she enjoys a man, she lets him know. When she's grown tired, she moves on. But with each and every one, she's very clear in her intentions. She doesn't lead them to believe there will be more. She doesn't deceive them about her actions nor does she pretend to be something that she's not. She's honest, forthright and refuses to subject her behavior to outside opinion.
Men and women have been engaging in lustful behavior since the beginning of time, yet for just as long, women have been forced to hide their desire while men have been encouraged to flaunt theirs. Sam knows those men aren't having sex with themselves. They're pleasuring women and women are enjoying it—something she is all about! While she respects a person's right to modesty and privacy in their sexual relations, she disdains a hypocritical charade regarding the same.
Samantha Rawlings is today's woman; independent, self-motivated and sexually in tune with her desires. While some women may choose to settle down and marry, it's no longer a requirement to fulfill their destiny in life. Sam will take care of that herself, thank you very much! In fact, she does all that and then some!
And you can see for yourself. Just leave a comment on this post and let me know what you think about the state of our sexual relations. You'll be entered to win a free copy of Lust on the Rocks, ebook or paperback (US and Canada only for paperback). It's the second in a series (connected by characters) after my debut novel Jennifer's Garden. Enjoy and thank you for stopping by!
Samantha sounds like my kind of heroine!

About the Author: Dianne lives in Central Florida with her husband, two children and part-time Yellow Lab--Cody-body! When not whacking away at her keyboard crafting her next novel you'll find her in their organic garden chasing grasshoppers and plucking hornworms all while drawing wild analogies between kids and plants and men. Definitely men.
A girl's gotta have fun, right?
When she's not knee-deep in dirt or romance, Dianne contributes garden advice for various websites and volunteers in her kids' school garden (a crazy existence to be sure). But at the end of the day, if she can inspire someone to stop and smell the roses--or rosemary!—kiss their child and spouse good-night, be kind to a neighbor and Mother Earth, then she's done all right.
