Anthologies are one of my favorite ways for finding new-to-me authors so I was happy to see Cyber Pulse: A Limited Edition Collection of LGBTQ+ Sci Fi Romance (A Dangerous Words Publishing Collection) release earlier this month. I interviewed a number of the authors about the inspirations for their stories.

June is the month for weddings and many sci-fi romance (SFR) stories lead to weddings — not all, some end with claiming a mate, pair bonding, becoming partners, cohabiting in the spaceship/space station/alien world, etc. Typically, the happy couple is contending with many more complications than the ins and outs of planning a wedding. I asked my friends at the Facebook SFR Brigade group to suggest some stories with weddings from their own...

The Ripped Bodice Bookstore in SoCal is conducting their fifth annual Summer Romance Bingo. I thought it would be fun to take their bingo card of categories, which you can view on their website and identify scifi romance titles that would satisfy the requirements for readers. I thought I’d start a new feature here on the blog and post periodically about five favorite novels from some of my must-read authors, although it’s hard to pick just a few from each author’s backlist. Who better to begin with than Ruby Dixon and the Ice Planet Barbarians and Icehome series?
