Merry Christmas
A year ago I started my Blog, opened up my Twitter account, and decided to create my platform that would result in the release of Beyond Parallel.
A year later things are established (although still very raw) and Beyond Parallel is a mere two weeks from release. Craziness!
I adore this time of year and I hope it brings you nothing but happiness. Enjoy the festive season, end 2012 in style, and start 2013 with a boom!
It seems as though the Mayans were wrong, so let's make the most it, shall we :)
And if you want some joy before you leave, check out my latest Beyond Parallel Reading:

Peace to you

What Truly Matters
Friday 15th February will forever be an important day in the life of Matthew Turner for this morning my son was born. As I write this I’ve yet to meet him and I keep trying to imagine what the moment will feel like. I’ve been thinking about it for months, but how can we predict such a marvellous and miraculous time?
It makes you place everything into perspective, and how unimportant so many of our worries are. For example, worrying about sales and reviews and interviews is rather silly, what we should be doing, as writers, is concentrating on the writing; that what we’re creating matter to us and will connect with others.
Of course, we must worry about sales and downloads and reviews to an extent, because if you don’t your career as a writer - at least a writer who does this for a living – will be short lived. Once you write it’s hard to turn your back on it. Once you write every day, it’s damn difficult to imagine not doing so.
I’m twiddling my thumbs right now waiting to meet my future. When you read this I’ll have held him, kissed him, and whispered into his ear. My life will never be the same and I couldn’t be happier.
So here’s to a Friday to remember. Have a drink with me, toast the world, and enjoy life this weekend. Don’t worry about the unimportant, focus on the aspects that matter – your family, your passion, the things you love and adore and couldn’t live without.
Cheers,
Matthew

Sum Up Your Week In 50 Words...
Here's a little task for you that takes only a few minutes. As the week is at an end, sum-up the last seven days - the good, the bad, the ugly...
Here's mine:
It’s been a week of ups and downs with my body thrown all around. Sickness has halted much progress, but ideas have flowed through. All in all it’s been lonesome with few new friends. I’m learning that the weeks with new folk are the weeks I savor.
How can you sum up your week in 50 words? It may help you live next week in style.
Here's to a great weekend, friend
Matthew
