The Kinky Christmas Blog Hop ~ Featuring L.V. Lewis’s Blog ~ #ASMSG #EroticRomance #99CentsSale
Let me just say, I was jumping up and down when I discovered this Blog Hop. Considering my subject matter and my most recent release, which bears the log line: “Have a very sexy Christmas, and a kinky New Year,” I just had to participate in this event!
Of course, I had to feature Christmas With The White Brothers during the hop, but would like to share the fact that every one of my books is now $0.99 for a LIMITED TIME. So, this means, you can complete your ensemble, gift them to family, and gift them to friends!
Also, in addition to this exciting news, the Blog Tour Host is giving away a fabulous GRAND PRIZE of a $75 Amazon Gift Card, and I’ll follow that up with a chance to win a $15 Amazon Gift Card, A set of all three of my audiobooks, and a set of all 4 of my ebooks, the gift card and ebooks are to be given away internationally. The rafflecopter giveaways will be at the end of the post.
In the meantime, let me introduce you to the Jungle Fever Romance world via Christmas With The White Brothers, which can be read as a standalone, or plopped between Fifty Shades of Jungle Fever and Exit Strategy to be read in a semblance of order :)
CHRISTMAS WITH THE WHITE BROTHERS
Keisha Beale has an ‘arrangement’ with one of the richest men in Chicago, who treats her like a queen, but she wants normalcy for the holidays. Well, as much normal as you can get from a man like Tristan White, who has everything and doesn’t think love is something he needs.
Jada Jameson’s dark past may be surprising to some considering the family she comes from. Nathan White wants her in every way a man wants a woman, but she needs hardcore kink, and the pace at which their relationship is progressing has left her wanting more.
Will the ladies of Kente Studio Records get everything they want from their first Christmas with the White brothers?

Nice and Naughty $0.99 Sale! ~ #ASMSG #EroticRomance #LVLewisNovels
I have many things to be thankful for this holiday season, not the least of which is my husband’s and my health, an extended family that has been battered but isn’t broken, three children with us and the angel we lost many years ago but have never forgotten, an opportunity to have my books featured by the inimitable Ms. Colleen Hoover, my Facebook Group The Block and its admins, and a group of engaged readers who still believe I have something entertaining to share with them.
I am full to overflowing with gratitude to you for making a life-long dream of mine come true. Sure, it hasn’t been without it’s adversity, but I wouldn’t trade what I have the privilege of doing now for anything else in the world.
So, I really want to give readers an opportunity to get all my books for the low price of $0.99! That includes Fifty Shades of Jungle Fever, Christmas With The White Brothers, Exit Strategy, Jungle Fever Duology (yeah, just in case you don’t have the whole series, or you want to gift it to someone else), and last but certainly not least, Redeeming The Amazon which is part of the First Den of Sin season series.
Happy Holidays to you all, and Jungle Fever Press is looking forward to bringing Double Switch to you in 2015 under the auspices of the fabulous LaVie EnRose!

CHRISTMAS WITH THE WHITE BROTHERS by L.V. Lewis ~ #ASMSG #IR/MC #EroticRomance
Say what? L.V. Lewis has written another book?
Well, yes. What I’ve always known, and what has become exceedingly apparent in my time away from actively writing and publishing is that something that is your passion cannot be left to lie fallow. It gets in your blood, it becomes part of you that refuses to be restrained.
As many of you know, I had some personal family crises earlier this year, and I believed that my epic writer’s block was caused by all these things that happened back-to-back. Now that some of these issues have been addressed, I was able to finally exercise my creative muscle again, and just in time for the holidays!
So, this short novella, Christmas With The White Brothers, became that last thing I had to do in the erotic realm before I completely move on to other genres. It also serves the dual purpose of introducing you to the writer who will complete the Jungle Fever saga, LaVie EnRose. You can read more about Ms. EnRose in the newsletter I sent out earlier today via Mailchimp, and also at the back of the novella :).
Additionally, there are some excerpts in my backmatter from an author I’ve featured here on my blog, Bev Elle, a new author in the IR/MC genre whom I also met at a local writer’s group. Check out her books if you need some reading variety.
Many of you will recognize a portion of this novella as a scene I wrote for the members of my Facebook Group, The Block. However, LaVie and I added approximately thirteen thousand words to it to bring you Christmas With The White Brothers as a bridge to Double Switch in 2015!
LaVie and I will work together sometimes much like other writing duos do in the industry (think Christina Lauren), but her name alone will go on Double Switch and the final as yet unnamed book in the series. So, without further ado, I’d like to share the buy links, summary, and a brief excerpt from Christmas With The White Brothers!

EXCERPT, Chapter 5
Tristan comes prepared, of course. He has a big-assed gift bag for Mama, and even a present for the Reverend. I shake my head.
“What?” he says.
“You never do anything half-assed,” I say.
He smirks. “It’s like you like to say, ‘Go big or stay home.’”
Those are strange words coming from a man the cost of whose suit could feed all the homeless people in Chicago on Christmas Day. He reaches in to ring the doorbell, but I touch his hand and stop him.
“Why do you go to such lengths with my mother? I’m your submissive. Nothing more.” I gesture toward his gifts. “All this is making her think this thing between us is more than it really is.”
He seems taken aback for a moment, but then he responds. “You’re wrong. You’re my business partner, and I’d hope after almost a year you would now consider me a friend.”
“With benefits,” I say morosely. “At this rate, you’re going to have to break up with both of us when you decide it’s time to move on.”
“Do you want me to beg off? I could get a call and leave.”
I don’t get to answer because Mama swings the door open. “Well, are you two going to stand out here yakking, or are you coming in?”
“Coming in.”
“Most definitely,” Tristan and I say almost simultaneously.
While he leans in and gives Mama a hug and presents her with his gift, Reverend Johnson gives me a hug. After all the greetings are done, and we’ve hung our coats on the coat tree, Mama grabs her camera off an end table.
“There’s mistletoe,” she says pointing at the ceiling above us.
“I’ve never been one to let a perfectly good cluster of mistletoe go to waste,” Tristan says and sweeps me into his arms and plants a back-bending, dramatic movie-style kiss on me.
“Awww,” Mama says and snaps, but the camera’s flash malfunctions. “One more, one more.”
“So sad, you missed your chance,” I say, and begin to move away.
Mama’s not having it. “Come on, Keisha, be a sport now. Tristan, don’t let her get away.”
Of course, he does exactly what Mama says and pulls me back underneath the mistletoe. “Come on, sweetheart, let’s make this holiday memorable for your mother.” Tristan scoots in close, bends his knees, and holds me in a tight hug, cheek-to-cheek, our faces angled toward Mama and her camera.
“Big smile,” Mama says. We smile on cue and she gets her money shot, but Tristan doesn’t let me go. He leans in and kisses me tenderly really laying it on thick for Mama.
“Awww,” she says again. “You remind us old geezers what it’s like to be young and in love.”
Tristan and I both stiffen, but I recover first and pat his back, like I’m soothing him, because I’m sure those words have shocked the shit out of him. My eyes shoot daggers at Mama, but she just smiles and acts all aloof.

OBSIDIAN FAITH ~ New Release Blitz ~ #ASMSG #Romance #IR/MC
Obsidian Faith
by Bev Elle
Publication Date: 4 December 2014
Genres: Contemporary, Romance
Synopsis
They were the most unlikely pair to fall in love. . .
A golden boy with a dark past. A bi-racial girl with epic faith. These two weren’t supposed to survive the system, sketchy origins and all.
Trevor Kyle has loved Shanice Bailey forever—from the time they both landed in the Baptist Children’s Home until they were young adults raised by adoptive families that had no resemblance to the worlds from which they came. Trevor has always been her protector and champion even when he was busy pushing her away for her own good.
Shanice has always taken her faith in Trevor seriously. Her childhood oath is strengthened when she learns the true meaning of family. But After Trevor’s adoptive parents die tragically and his bachelor uncle takes him in, she finds that the boy she’s always looked up to has changed, and not for the better. Yet, she can’t bring herself to forget him as her pure childhood love for him blossoms into something more.
The most generous heart and truest faith does not travel an easy path. Just when Trevor thinks he’s found a way to keep his promise to be with Shanice forever, a specter from the past threatens their future plans.
EXCERPT, Chapter 12, Obsidian Faith
“You want to be a doctor?” Trevor said.
“No, a nurse. I want to help people get over drug addiction and stuff, but I don’t want to go to school for all the years it takes to be a doctor.”
“That’s cool. Just don’t fall for some doctor and forget about me,” he teased.
“I’d never forget you, Trevor,” she said. “And I’ll never fall for some doctor.”
“How do you know?” he said. “You’ll go off to college and I’ll be as good as forgotten.”
“You’ll forget me first,” she said. “You already have. You’re the one who’s taking Emily Winters to the prom and everything.”
“It’s just another rite of passage.”
“A what?”
“It’s one of those things you’re expected to do at certain ages that transition you from one stage in life to another.”
“Oh, well. I’m not passing any rites with anyone but you,” She said.
“You’re too young to say that, Shanice. You’ve got a lot of growing up to do.”
“So do you.” She protested, just as he expected her to.
“Yeah, but I’m closer to twenty-one than you are, and I’ll be going off to college in a couple of years.”
“I know, but I won’t forget you,” Shanice said with conviction.
“How do you know this?” Trevor asked.
“Because I’m going to be like Amy March in Little Women.”
“Never heard of it,” Trevor said.
“Probably because boys think it’s stupid. But there is a Little Men, and Jo’s Boys and they’re about orphans and stuff. Anyway, they’re classics. Mom read the books when she was about my age, so she gave them to me for Christmas.”
“What does this have to do with you not forgetting me?”
“You’ll have to read Little Women to find out,” she said cryptically.

In Defense of “Write What You Know”
Originally posted on lucybluecastle:
In a recent writers roundtable over at comic and fiction writer Sean H. Taylor’s blog (Bad Girls, Good Guys and Two-Fisted Action, and if you’re not reading it, you’re missing out), we talked about the best and worst advice we’ve ever received as writers. More than half of us piled on the hate for that cursed pearl so loved by high school creative writing teachers everywhere: Write What You Know. What a load of crap, we agreed. How boring would fiction be if writers only ever wrote what they knew? There’d be no science fiction, no fantasy, no horror that didn’t make you cry and throw up, and very little romance of the slightest interest to anybody but the parties involved. I was part of the lynch mob, I freely admit. I think this idea of writing what you know has produced more soggy, self-indulgent crap calling itself…

SWEETEST TABOO by Harper Miller ~ COVER REVEAL
The Sweetest Taboo Cover Reveal Info
© Harper Miller 2014
Synopsis:
New York City, Late Summer 2009
Like many single women who reside in the city that never sleeps, Micah Foster has had numerous encounters with undesirable men that make her want to renounce love. Just when she’s on the verge of calling it quits in her quest to find love and a sustainable relationship with a Dominant man, her friend Kisa requests her company for a girl’s night out at Spanxxx, a local fetish club. Both Kisa and Micah are seasoned submissive players in the BDSM lifestyle. Micah has been involved in the scene since her early twenties, but she has yet to meet a Dominant she meshes with and takes seriously. Now, at age thirty, she continues to search for a connection that repeatedly eludes her. Under duress, she crosses paths with Dominant Rick Thomas. Unusual and dire circumstances bring the pair together, and he’s exactly what Micah has been searching for.
The Sweetest Taboo is aptly titled. It’s an unconventional erotic love story that provides a different perspective of a relationship involving D/s and BDSM. The reader will follow Micah and Rick’s journey from beginning to end. You’ll laugh, you’ll be turned on, and most of all, you’ll find yourself cheering for their love.
*Disclaimer* If rough sex, an interracial pairing (Black woman/White man), D/s, and BDSM are of no interest to you, you should bypass this story. Intended for a mature and kinky audience. Recommended for adults 18+.
Excerpt:
“Afternoon.” I shoved My hands down into the pockets of My lab coat before I did something unprofessional. “Are you all ready to go?”
she nodded. “Yes, Dr. Thomas. The nurse brought my discharge papers a few hours ago. i was just packing my stuff before heading out, but i’m glad You stopped by. i wanted to thank You for Your help.
“i can’t tell You how humbled i am by Your act of kindness. You saved my life, and i will be forever grateful,” she said as her eyes darted around the room, looking everywhere but at Me. she shoved a sweater into her bag with less care than she took with her other clothing.
her words were sincere, but for whatever reason, I must have made her nervous, although I wasn’t sure why. she gathered the plastic bag and her purse before quickly brushing past Me and exiting the room.
This was not how I envisioned things going. I increased My pace and caught up with micah at the nurse’s station. It was all or nothing; I only had a few moments to make an impression.
“ms. foster? micah?” I called out. I composed Myself as I approached her.
she slowed her pace, bid farewell to the nurses, then turned in My direction. I jumped at the opportunity, unable to wait a moment longer. “ms. foster, I was hoping to speak with you before you left. Once you signed the discharge papers, the doctor-patient relationship ended. That means I’m no longer your treating physician and you’re no longer My patient. With that said, I have a question I’d like to ask. Please hear Me out. Don’t take this the wrong way . . .”
her facial expression was unreadable, so I continued.
“I’m not trying to be a creep, but I would regret letting you leave today without at least giving this a fair shot. I sincerely apologize if you feel this is inappropriate or too forward, but ms. foster, I’d love your company for a drink or dinner . . . whichever you’d prefer. Will you allow Me to take you out?”
Waiting for her answer seemed to take an eternity. she didn’t look at My face; instead her gaze landed somewhere around the name embroidered on the left breast pocket of My lab coat. her lower lip found its way between her teeth as she stared, apparently deep in thought. In what seemed to be a delayed reaction, she gawked up at My face, clearly surprised by My question.
Was she put off by the entire idea or just caught off guard by My request? Either way, her answer would let Me know which way she was leaning. I just hoped to God she wasn’t leaning toward no.
she finally provided Me a small reprieve. “You want to take me out?”
“Yes.”
“Like on a date?”
“Yes,” I replied again.
“i’m sorry, Dr. Thomas, but i don’t date,” she said, dismissing Me as she continued toward the elevators.
Oh, she was going to make this interesting. her flippant attitude bothered the hell out of Me, but I was going to see this through. I quickly followed in an attempt to catch her before the elevator doors opened and she walked out of My life.

Her first published novel, MORE, was born out of a challenge to write a novel in thirty days issued during National Novel Writing month. MORE was well received, selected as a finalist in the 2013 Kindle Book Review Best Indie Book Awards, and won the Suspense/Thriller division of the Blogger Book Fair Reader’s Choice Awards.
In addition to MORE and its sequels, The Guardians and TWELVE, Franklin has penned the Amazon best-selling short stories, Window and A Piece of Cake. Her Amazon best-selling YA romance, How to Get Ainsley Bishop to Fall in Love with You, is Franklin’s first love story without traditionally recognized paranormal or fantasy elements. Although . . . T. M. is the first to argue that love is the best kind of magic.

Featuring “The Friendly Skies”

Cassie Sinclair has been there, done that, and has the frequent flyer miles to prove it. She’s far too jaded to fall for the engaging stranger seated next to her on her flight to Mexico, no matter how pretty his face or dreamy his accent. But when the flight’s re-routed and their tightly packed schedules are blown, she decides indulging in one reckless night with Simon couldn’t hurt. They’ll have their fun and fly back to their regularly scheduled lives the next day. But fate (and Simon) might have other plans.
“Cass, let’s just call this what it is.”
She blinked at him, unbearably aware of his hand covering hers. God, could he feel the way her pulse was racing under his fingertips? “And what’s that?” she asked, her voice thick and quiet with nerves.
“A date.”
“This is a date?”
He shrugged casually, one corner of his mouth curling up in a smile. His fingers slowly slid higher on her arm. “Yes, a date. We might not have set out to go on one today, but that seems to be where we’ve found ourselves. So let’s go with it.”
“On a date.”
His smile grew wider and he nodded once. He was positively caressing her arm now. “A date. Which means I’m buying.”
She didn’t protest when he slid the check out of her reach. After tucking his credit card in the folder, he took her hand again, turning it over and skimming his thumb over her palm. Her breath caught in her throat. Such a tiny, insignificant touch, and yet she felt it in so many places.
“Since we’ve agreed that we’re now on a date, maybe you won’t mind me doing this,” he murmured, lifting her hand and pressing his lips against the pounding pulse in her wrist. He looked up at her, his lips still brushing her skin.
“Okay?”
She nodded. “Okay,” she whispered.
“And this?” He kissed the center of her palm, slowly, deliberately, and she was fairly certain she felt his tongue flick out to taste her skin. She pressed her knees together as her nerves and muscles slowly melted. She wanted to climb into his lap, straddle him, push his shoulders back, grab him by that tie…
“That’s okay, too.” Her voice had turned into a rasp.
“You’ve got some chocolate on your finger,” he murmured, his breath washing across her palm. “Right here.”
There was no errant spot of chocolate, but she said nothing as he drew the tip of her index finger into his mouth. She thought she might combust on the spot. It didn’t last long, just a whisper of his slick, warm mouth around her fingertip and then he let her go, sitting back and smiling with an expression that was nothing short of salacious. “I’ve wanted to do that all day.”
