Thank you so much for your support!!!

Dear reader,

Just a quick note to thank you for taking time to read my newest novel, LITTLE FAITH. I've been incredibly moved by your many notes of support and enthusiasm. I've been so very fortunate to publish four books so far, but the response to LITTLE FAITH has been so edifying.

I have a favor to ask you, and I apologize for being redundant... But please consider leaving a review on Amazon (or simply transferring your Goodreads review over to Amazon).

Why is this a big deal to writers like me?

Well, for one thing, this book focuses on so many sensitive issues: faith, mortality, religion... Readers are responding to LITTLE FAITH's focus on these issues, but it's also fair to say that LITTLE FAITH is a quieter book. It's the kind of book that can find a wider and wider audience only through the words and deeds of its readers.

So, please, spread the word about LITTLE FAITH. Leave reviews, suggest the book for book clubs, and hopefully I'll meet you some time in the coming months while I tour from indie bookstore to indie bookstore, from library to library.

Finally - I appreciate you. I'm a full-time working writer. Without you, I can't continue my work, my art.

Forward,
Nickolas Butler

Please consider posting your review to Amazon!

Hello Readers,

First of all, thank you so much to those of you who have read "Little Faith." Your early reviews have been incredibly kind. I feel so heartened that you are responding to this book so positively.

I have a favor to ask. Please consider ALSO leaving a review on Amazon. Why? Because your review actually "excites" Amazon's algorithms and may lead other readers to "Little Faith."

Anyway, it only takes a second to post your review and in doing so, you're helping to ensure that a working writer like myself can continue to produce the novels and short stories you've read and enjoyed.

Again, I'm grateful to you all for your support, your encouragement, and your kind reviews. Keep spreading the good word about "Little Faith"!

Best,
Nick Butler

"Little Faith" Video

My friend, the very talented Peter Eaton, created this video of me reading from the opening chapter of "Little Faith." If you're curious what southwestern Wisconsin looks like -particularly during winter - Peter has captured it!

I'm very excited for the March 5th release of "Little Faith," and I hope you are, too. Please consider pre-ordering a copy if you haven't already!

Best,
Nick

A New Book Around The Corner...

December 11th, 2018

Dear Reader,

I never know quite how to do this. How to best utilize all these different and wonderful social-media platforms. And, as so often happens with me, I regularly decide to do nothing at all, which I suppose is fine, but isn't perhaps the most *helpful* on the off-chance that someone is out there, enjoying my books and maybe even hankering for a new one to hit shelves...

Well, a new one (another novel) IS about to hit shelves in early March of 2019. "Little Faith" is a novel set in a small fictional town along the Mississippi River in western Wisconsin and following the lives of Lyle and Peg Hovde and their orbits of friends and family. In many ways, this novel is the story of a grandfather and his grandson - that very special relationship. In other ways, this is a book about faith, friendship, love, and persistence. It's also a bit of a suspense novel.

I've very proud of this book and I want as many readers as possible to find "Little Faith". So, to the extent that I can, I'm eager to to connect with you - either through book-groups, bookstore readings, or whatever. And to all of you readers who have followed me from book to book, granting me the incredible privilege of being a full-time writer I say this, "Thank you, thank you, thank you."

Best wishes to you,
Nickolas Butler
