My maternal grandfather’s name was Malcolm McCaskill Ferguson. I remember him telling about some of the mythology and lore, instilling in me a deep love for all things Scottish. I doubt I will be able to visit, but I’m wondering if you’ve visited an area in Scotland that inspired Loren Brae? I highly recommend visiting Scotland if you can get a chance! One area that inspired Loren Brae was Inveraray, as there is a lovely castle set just above a charming town, all nestled on the shores of Loch Fyne.
