Crazy But Fun
OK,
So this is the first time ever for me....It's snowing outside, I'm curled up in my ohh not so sexy pj's after laughing so hard at keagan Kruze trying to be an agony Aunt i just had to go to his post and play. I'm so lucky...I'm warm, loved beyond words and happier than i have ever been.
The mayhem of the last few days has been intense. Author pages have been remade, I've had a new release and a blog tour to promote and a million and one people and friends to thank. What an amazing journey it's been. I truly never thought I would see the day something co written by me would ever make the grade. But here I am, green...new to the mass panic that my first published work has bought me. I'm dizzy with elation and wish I could personally thank and hug everyone of my wonderfully kind and thoughtful friends. To the amazing people where I work...Yeah you crazy loons...you are a riot. You make every day great and keep a smile on my face through even the darkest days. I love you for that and for being there for me along with my family who have always been there to cheer me on. The understanding from my amazing two boys who just roll their eyes and think ....Gawds what the hell is she up to now. I love you. Even though we drive each other crazy at times (Mostly because I huff & puff to much).
But for the most part it's all down to a small group of the most amazing people who are more than just friends. Because without fate bringing us together I would never have been brave enough to take that first shaky step into the world of story writing. You gave me confidence, guided me and supported me and at times damn well kicked my arse. We've come along way together, through good times and bad, and we're still here, a testament to real friendship and what it means to us as a group. I don't need to name you...each one of you know exactly who you are and what you mean to me.
I can hear J T as she laughs in the background and the sound of it makes me smile. We're laughing so hard and yeah...you guessed it. People are getting stabbed!! Keagan...crazy as ever!!! Makes the funniest damn agony aunt ever. But I love her laugh and so want to hear it ringing through our home as we sit together and write. It will happen. Karma's on our side. She is my muse, my inspiration and the reason I am dizzy. She cracks that whip and boy do I jump! I'm an author...a writer of the insanity that lives in my mind...a little scared..maybe, a little green...hell yes. But loving every second and wondering what comes next?
