Preorder Your Copy: Chaos Destiny – An Angels and Assassins Apocalypse Survival Romance
Well, well, well…
I was expecting this to take longer, but Chaos Destiny – Angels & Assassins Apocalypse Vol. 1 is now available for preorder.
Release date: 1/28/2025
(I know not everyone here is a serial reader, and you all love these characters, so I'm hoping the eBook brings you comfort until Vol 2.)
My intent is to make this mini-series a wild ride with some of your favorite characters. I'm also hoping that it's an escape, the idea of finding love in a world gone dark and maybe assassinating some people in the process.
Romance, you know?

Year-End Wrap-Up & Hopes for 2025
In a nutshell, for me, 2024 has been a year of learning, adapting, resting, and sacrifice. I didn’t write as many books as I'm used to writing in a year as I'm still learning to navigate life with a serious illness. It's challenging at times, but it's also teaching me to listen to my body, honor what it needs, take those needs seriously, and let go of my predisposition toward social masking.
Sometimes, things aren't fine or okay.
And that's fine and okay.
For 2025, I’m not setting any rigid plans or goals. It's funny how many states are ending the year in a fog, which resonates with how I've been hearing and reading that the future feels for many of us, myself included. But, as humans, we're made to adapt, and we should give ourselves grace for making it as far as we have. I would like to, however, exchange my designation of "strongest soldier" for patient love, compassion, and a soft life.
With that being said, I write because I love it.
The stories won’t stop.
In addition, I’ll continue sharing my work on Patreon, and I hope to release Mori & Michelle’s story as well as Wren and Thanasis’ story in 2025.
THANK YOU to everyone supporting me through this journey, whether through kind words, a purchase, or simply showing up. Here’s to a 2025 filled with adaptability, creativity, and a salient hope with the power of creating unexpectedly wonderful outcomes.
Happy New Year

Could Love Withstand The End of the World?
Hey, hey, hey.
So, yesterday (12/4) was the last day for uploads on Kindle Vella. That means, the story I'm writing? The story where I can make Gage and co. unalive anyone I want them to because it's an end of the world story, and because it's been feeling hella apocalyptic in real life, and because life is life-ing but I'm not personally aggressive, so I have to be aggressive through my characters?
Yeah, that story?
It continues on Patreon.
I'll be bringing it to Amazon early next year.
It's an ongoing serial, so Patreon subscribers will get the goodies (chapters, updates, books) first. I'll let everyone know when Season One (i.e., Volume One) is complete on Patreon if you'd like to read it there (early) before the first release rollout.
Fyi, Tier 2 and 3 Patreon subscribers get free books.
I also appreciate the fact that you all are so understanding. I'm still able to share my writing in a form that matches my need to sleep for 1200 hours a day, and that's a blessing.
I need that.
I'm in a mood.
This week has been cold in FL. My joints do not appear to like the cold, and they are letting me know, in detail, that they do, in fact, despise the cold. Then my fingernails and toenails look like I'm a Walking Dead character, and yes, the zombies. I don't think I could defeat anemia even with the U.S. military defense budget.
But that's frustration.
This is rage.
People have been sharing stories about their healthcare claim denials through their insurance companies ever since the pop-pop-(clear jam)-pew-pew in Manhattan.
These insurance execs are out here rejoicing about record profits while denying services for babies with cancer.
Then you have people defending that level of psychopathy. These are some of the same people unwittingly shining the boots that these execs will subsequently use to step on them.
But I digress.
Not really, but if I don't channel my pissed-the-f*ck-offery, I'll give myself an ulcer.
The first few chapters are available to read for everyone here.

I’m glad I decided to write something dystopian.
Feels pretty apt right now.

The sun continued to rise above the horizon. The sky, especially at this time of morning, was a soft amber-gray, and the temperature was almost perfect.
It was during times like these that I wondered whether human life was more like an infection, a cancer to Earth with natural disasters acting as her immune system to attempt to obliterate us all.
High-force winds of destruction.Heavy floods.Earthquakes.Volcanoes.Raging wildfires. It was as if the more the population grew, the more weapons she sent. Yet, humans continued to thrive. So, without the help from a core destabilizing asteroid this time around, Earth chose the next best thing—a global pandemic.
As the end of human life unfolded, the sun rose. The sky remained a clear palette that promised a beautiful day.
While we die, Earth smiles.
Now, As Far As Releases, What’s Next From Me?
In the meantime, I think it’s nigh time for me to leave Florida.

Angels & Assassins Apocalypse – Ch1: Gage & Tayler

Gage Wolfe is a former Special Ops operative turned commercial real estate developer. While waiting for the birth of his niece, he learns of a mysterious infection that's spreading across the United States. Little does he know, this is just the beginning, and he'll be forced to navigate this new landscape while trying to reunite with his Special Ops ghost unit. What he doesn't anticipate is the beautiful, gun-toting doctor who saves his life, or the effect she'll have on him in an ending world.
Read Episode 1 NowThe first 10 episodes are already up. It's also available on my Patreon page for those of you who aren't U.S.-based.
I'll be breaking the story segments up into chapters (sort of like TV show seasons). Chapter One starts with Gage, Tayler, Ari, and Thandie. Julien's missing, and no one knows whether he's dead or alive, so Ari and Thandie have become Gage's responsibility for the time being.
Some interesting tidbits:
It's written in standalone fashion, so you don't have to know all the characters' backgrounds to dive in.
The team will start out assembled but not together. After their last assignment, they fulfilled their contracts and went on to attempt a shot at civilian life—until the world goes to hell.
I plan to use each "chapter" for a main character intro. For instance, Giorgio's intro will start with him in the back of an armored vehicle. Dez took a government contractor position and will be on assignment protecting a federal prosecutor. Mike and Joel, we'll talk about later.
I'm going to be incorporating some new characters.
1. What's your next release, and when is it coming?
I'm not sure yet, but I do believe it'll be either Mori's book or the story of his ancestor that leads to him and Michelle being "reunited." (I love fate and prophecies, but that's probably obvious). I'm just taking some full-length release time off.
2. Are Wren and Thanasis getting a book?
One-hundred percent.
3. Are any of the other characters getting a 2nd book, like Mike, Gio, Joel, and Adrían?
It really depends on if I can come up with a plot that I like. Right now, I'm in a world-building writer's phase. I actually started writing the apocalypse story last year as a way to de-stress as the idea of taking the guys down to the rawest sense of survival sparked something for me. Plus, I've always loved science and medicine. I even wanted to be a biological scientist at one point. My hope is to make this a wonderful journey for readers and for me as a writer.
4. Will The Crimson Veil be available on K/U?
I've been reading about how much of a help K/U has been for readers, especially during times like these. So, I'm considering having signed paperbacks and hardcover books for sale on my website and then rolling TCV into K/U.
5. Where did the Vella artwork come from?
It was created by a designer on Etsy named Michelle Connor.
6. How are you doing?
I do that thing so many of us do, especially women, where we're always okay, even when things aren't optimal. But I am taking care of myself. I'm taking breaks. Drinking water. Tampa's rebuilding after Milton, but I'm thinking I want a change of scenery sometime in the future. Mountains instead of beaches or something. Then, a tree branch that would have gone through my parents' roof was caught by the tree. Publix had really good chicken the other day. And after I finish writing this, I'm about to go eff up the leftovers.
It's the little things.
How are you all doing?

The Crimson Veil – Now on Amazon.com

In the kingdom of Damuna, despite being a fierce and defiant princess, I live my life in the shadow of my twin brother. However, while he rules the kingdom behind our fortified walls, I find myself driven by a dark obsession to hunt down the creature that terrorized our land years ago. When the Harvest Moon rises, marking a time of celebration, an unspeakable evil returns—an evil that once tore our family apart.
But this is no ordinary monster.
This is an enigmatic, seductive force whose power over me is as consuming as the red moon in the sky.
Drawn into a dangerous game of survival, passion, and magic, I’m faced with only two options: surrender to the dangerous desires he awakens inside me, or save my kingdom, my people, from certain destruction.
But he wants more than my body.
He craves my very soul.
In a world where the lines between good and evil blur, and love becomes a twisted, all-consuming force, I’m forced to navigate a landscape filled with treachery, betrayal, and a past that haunts my every step. The Crimson Veil has descended, and no one is safe.
And I cannot, must not, ever say his name.

It’s been over ten years since Sayeda has been on the run. In fact, it’s been so long that ducking and dodging the assassins her very own mother sent after her becomes the second most dangerous thing in her life.
While hiding out in Brazil, she accepts help from someone who she’d believed was a friend. The next thing she knows, she’s locked into a life contract with the Brazilian cartel.
However, luck—and a little arrogance—give her a chance to escape. Lorenzo, the man to whom she was “gifted" by the cartel leader, allows her to escape Brazil for the thrill of the hunt, the thrill of the chase.
Little does Lorenzo know, that in letting her escape the claws of the man she was given to, she’s run right into the arms of the man she belongs to.
