���Will������ she breathed. Her eyes slid closed.

Bringing up his profile picture on her phone, Riley flashed the screen at the Fed and cleared her suddenly dry throat. ���Maybe the wrong car. But you���re not the wrong guy.��� 

The man sighed, leaning back against his seat. His hand dragged slowly across his chest, and she realized he���d had it on his holstered weapon. She swallowed. Crossing his arms, he shook his head.

���Hello, Ms. Quinn.��� 

She blinked. ���Gotta tell you, Mr. Fed���using someone���s name before you���re introduced is a little creepy. Smacks of intelligence agent.��� 

���The woman who climbed into my car uninvited to show me a picture of myself is lecturing me on creepiness?���

���Point taken.��� She shrugged. ���So, what���s your name?���

���Call me Sam.���

���Sure. What���s your name, Sam?���

His lips twitched. ���Why aren���t you with your friends?���
