Why ‘Passion’ Is One Of The Most Overused And Overrated Terms Used Today
Passion is overrated. “What? Okay Harv, now you’ve gone too far!!” Let’s be clear, here. When it comes to the people we care about, or a cause, a mission, or…let’s just be honest here…sex and intimacy, then of course passion is good! That’s not the kind of passion I’m talking about. What I mean is this whole idea that “If I’m not living my passion, then everything’s wrong!” Let’s first of all take this heavy load off of the word “passion.” It used to be a good thing, now it’s frickin’ overrated! I can’t tell you how many people have read more

The Real Reason You May Not Be As Successful As You’d Like To Be
When it comes to success, here’s the bottom line: if you don’t have a “why,” you’re not going to have motivation. One of the biggest things I teach is that for you to succeed, you need to have a purpose, a reason, for whatever you’re going to be doing. For you to have a lot of money, you need to have a purpose for having a lot of money. The truth is, most people don’t have a lot of money because they don’t have a big and important enough reason to. Most people are not financially free because they don’t read more

Why You Deserve Success, Happiness And Fulfillment Just As Much As Anyone Else
The issue of deservingness comes up pretty consistently when I’m teaching. You hear it in people’s questions that they don’t deserve success, happiness, peace of mind, etc. It comes out in language like, “I wasn’t meant to have (fill-in-the-blank), I guess.” I don’t know who appointed anyone the one that knows what was meant to be or not meant to be, but they must be God, yes? Let’s get rid of that language “meant to be” because you don’t know the answer to that question and neither do I. We’re going to let the big guy or the big gal read more

A Foolproof Plan To Succeed With Your New Year’s Resolutions
Holidays can be stressful, yes? You’re making time for family gatherings, shopping, etc. For some people, just managing the holiday blues can be stressful enough without all the other commercial stuff. And what do most people go and do? They make things even more stressful coming up with “resolutions” for the New Year because that’s what we’re supposed to do, right? If we want to reach our goals, we’re supposed to identify what they are, figure out a plan for how we’re going to get there, and measure our results along the way to see how we’re doing. That’s Personal read more

Why Knowing What Type Of Person You Are Is Critical To Your Success And Productivity
There’s an art to living in the present while putting your head down, pumping out some results, and moving with some sense of urgency to accomplish what needs to be done to succeed. But then again, what’s success without happiness? And what are those most important parts of our happiness? The people that matter to us. If those parts of our happiness are neglected, then the accomplishment just doesn’t mean as much. For example, being with your kids is of Level 10 importance as is having a wonderful relationship with your significant other, but so is staying healthy and fit, read more

Here’s One Of My Top Secrets To Living A Truly Amazing Life
When I was young, I was pretty decent at golf. I lived right across the street from a driving range and got my first set of clubs when I was 13 years old. I got to play golf literally all the time when I wasn’t in school. But when I turned about 17-years old, I developed something called a slice where the ball really curves to the right, and I couldn’t correct it, so I started getting less involved in golf. Once I got out of school life took over, and I didn’t play for years and years. I got read more

Why Most People Utilize Their Strengths And Weaknesses Incorrectly And How It Might Be Blocking You From Success
I haven’t found too many people that have inherent weaknesses of personality, or their way of being, that can fix them that easily. I spent a lot of time when I was younger “working on my weaknesses”. The problem was that I kept finding more problems with myself, and I kept on getting disappointed about just how many flaws I actually had/have. It finally occurred to me to stop trying to fix my weaknesses. Instead, I began focusing on my strengths and letting the weaknesses be where they are. If they go, they go. If they stay, they stay, and read more

Discover Why These 3 Sneaky Enemies Could Be Blocking You From Living Your True Purpose
A huge part of the reason why I first began teaching was that I like to help people out, but I was also attempting to earn a decent living, do well financially, be successful and productive, etc. Soon, I found though that what really gave me juice about being successful at teaching was when I noticed that I had an effect on people. I began to notice that people would tell me that their lives were changing based on stuff I would teach them. Teaching became a little bit more about being in service than being financially successful, which of read more

Discover Why Almost All Successful People Have This One Characteristic In Place
One of the most important characteristics that have to be in place for you to be successful as a person is integrity. If you don’t have that, you are absolutely screwed. First of all, you’ll never be rich for long. If you get rich without being in integrity, you’re going to lose it. It’s as simple as that. Secondly, you won’t be able to live with yourself. The definition of integrity if you look it up in a dictionary is basically whole and complete. The dictionary’s going to give you a couple of other ways that the word is used, read more

Why Focusing On A Problem Will Make It Almost Impossible To Solve
Not that long ago, I had an issue where I ran an ad that I wrote myself, and I thought it was a very strong ad for my Millionaire Mind Intensive program. We put a lot of time, energy and money into it. We ran the ad for three days. After the first day we got no calls. Half the second day is gone and not one call. I’m thinking, “What the hell is this? The ad must be shit!” Of course my first impulse was to go into stress mode, but instead of sitting around trying to figure out read more
