Will be delivering the Queridas ni Rizal lecture in the San Francisco Public Library, Koret auditorium tomorrow October 2 at 1.30pm

Tracing Rizal's footsteps in San Francisco leads one to the Palace Hotel where he stayed in 1888. The hotel is still in operation and wonderfully preserved.


Heroes

is now in San Francisco for the Filipino-American Bookfair. Am still recovering from a bad cold that the doctor suspected was dengue. Still recovering. Signs of old age creeping up on me.
