Sorry I haven't written lately. Very busy with everything. You know how it is.
I had the pleasure of hearing my beautiful daughter, Roxy sing last night at the "Friday Nite Live at the Old Dixie Cafe" and she was amazing! I was so proud. She is going to Nashville in a couple of months to record her first C.D. That's right, you heard me. She is recording a Christian C.D. (heart swells with pride)
Everything is finally happening for her and I think I'm more excited than she is, if that's possible. LOL
The venue was country gospel and though it's not really her favorite, she will sing anything if it means she can stand in front of an audience and perform. She was born for the stage.
Okay, okay, I know I'm gushing. I can't help it.
I've just been busy trying to drum up business for my store. It's coming along, slowly but surely. Haven't been writing much though. Reading seems to be all I can muster right now. Too many interruptions to be able to get "in the zone". You fellow authors out there know what I'm talking about.
