What Did You Do Today?

When Sue comes home from work each day, we talk about each other's days. Frequently, when she asks me what I did in a given day, I simply say, "I got a bunch of miscellaneous things done, and then found two hours to write." When she asks what the various things were, I can never remember. Plus, it sounds kind of strange and even sad that in an eight (or so) hour day, I only wrote for two hours. (Although the truth is, I get most of my writing done at night.)
