Barely Breathing , the first novel in my Colorado High Country series, is out in ebook today! Watch for it in print later in the week.


Barely Breathing is a full-length contemporary romance with touches of adventure and tiny bit of suspense. Have I mentioned that it’s sexy-hot? Set in Scarlet Springs, a small mountain town, it follows the lives and loves of the men and women on the Rocky Mountain Search & Rescue Team.


The series will have an estimated eight books, each one featuring characters from Rocky Mountain SAR and the eccentric residents of Scarlet Springs, Colo.


As a lifelong Colorado resident, I had a lot of fun writing this story, sometimes laughing out loud, even during the sex scenes. It brings to life the Colorado I know and love—and the men and women who keep the mountains safe for residents and tourists alike.
