One of many occasions where she indulged her love of dressing up with others who understood!

Daughter loved to dress up. Her grandmothers indulged her with pretty dresses. Her Turtle Mom, however, didn't get with the program. Jeans, t-shirts, and sweats were my normal attire.

She did not let my lack of an elegance jean deter her, though. She found like-minded folks wherever she could.

Luckily, both her grandmothers have the tastefully elegant gene that skipped me.
