Having published numerous paid articles in various international magazines and five novels it was time to try something different so I thought I'd try screenwriting. The pilot episode of my first attempt at a television drama series, "Sharpe Practice" made it to the top 15% out of 9,000 entries in the Austin Film Festival and more recently I was a finalist in the Television Drama category of the Hollywood Screenplay Contest. All very encouraging.

It does not, of course, mean that the series will be taken up by a producer and end up on television somewhere but it's fun working on something about which I am so passionate.
