Find Time to Write

Hello Poetteers,

Life may get in the way and make it hard to find time to write.
1. Wake up earlyThe silence, the fresh mind and clear head can get the gears going.
2. Stay up late There is something about the night that puts your head in a different place.
3. Tell peopleWhen you tell someone you have this urge to do it. You have someone to hold you accountable.

4. Stay away from distractionsI've said this before, don't go on your phone or social media until after you start working. One thing that will make it easier to do this is turning off the notifications on your phone.
5. Take advantage of your breaksThe words will eventually add up and seeing it will make you want to complete it.

6. Keep a notebook with youIdeas have a way of creeping up on you and come at the most random times. You don't want to forget them.
7. Schedule it into your already busy dayWhen you see it on your to do list you have a better chance of doing it.
8. Leave off on a cliffhanger When you leave off like that you look forward to the next time you get to sit down and figure out the rest.
9. BraindumpHaving all your ideas down or an outline gets you one step closer to writing the story.
10. Meditation Sitting in silence, you get to reflect on your day. You get in touch with your intuition.
