Jace Harding, running back for the Denver Storm, doesn’t expect to have his old neighbor, the beautiful Addison Livingston, pass out in his arms when he was only trying to eat at his favorite restaurant. But he really didn’t expect to discover she’s eight months pregnant, on bed rest, and her husband had passed away, either. The kicker to the whole situation is when he finds himself offering to help out by moving in with her.

Addison Livingston is not going to have the professional football player move in with her! What would the neighbors think, especially the nosy cat woman, Mrs. Hensley? Not to mention the fact … drumroll … they don’t even know each other! Too bad she needs his help and when he offers to throw an obscene amount of money at the nonprofit organization she’s involved with…she finds herself accepting.

After Jace cooks for her, rubs her feet, and takes her to Lamaze class…she never imagined their tentative friendship could actually turn into something real. Now they are left with a choice—let the past prevent the future…or make one last play for the End Zone.
