Beautiful UK edition of Assassin's Quest

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram or Facebook, you've probably seen this already. There is a giveaway for UK readers to win a copy of the anniversary edition of Assassin's Quest.

It's a beautiful book, well bound with quality paper. The interiors are by John Howe, the well known Tolkien artist. He also did the UK covers for the original editions of the Farsee Trilogy.

Yes, the giveaway is only for the UK. That's because the offer is from HarperCollins UK, the publisher for the United Kingdom.

Jason The Farseer trilogy is one of my all time favourites and although i already own a copy of each Farseer book, I would happily have this special edition. It is gorgeous! It is a shame however that the three special editions don't match

H.G. McKinnis This is a lovely offer. But I am afraid it's an attempt by the author to
sneak away for a vacation instead of writing the continuing adventures of Bee Farseer. Just paranoia on this reader's part. Right? Right?

Daniel Kelly I grew up in England and loved the art style for your books. I was shocked at how less exciting the US covers were, but that is true for many series. This anniversary edition looks fantastic, and I hope it finds a good home.

Or readers from any other country. :)

Hazel The book is gorgous :)
I already have all your books (bought when they were first issued) with great, if somewhat worn covers. Could you ask the publishers to offer the identical book for sale in Australia, or, if its already available WHERE do I find it? Certainly my local, large bookstore doesn't know anything about it as of an hour ago !!

I love how you add "or readers from any other country" as an afterthought. Yay !! You suddenly remembered America wasn't the whole world

Pat I hate to deny you your delicious indignation, but I am from the Netherlands and I was actually quoting someone else. :)

Hazel My apologies. I am just fed up with an America-centric world :)
An author friend told me that Amazon didn't even count reviews from outside the US when giving books their ratings as bestsellers, best in category etc.

Pat No worries, I've felt that frustration too...
