Beta Readers Needed!

Hi everyone,

I’ve finished the fifth book in the World’s Scariest Places series. It’s called MOUNTAIN OF THE DEAD. I’ve been working on revisions with an agent, and now that they’re largely done, I’m looking for a couple generous people who would consider reading a copy of the book and providing a bit of feedback (which could be as much as you want, or as little as a paragraph or two detailing what you liked or didn’t – don’t worry, I’m good with criticism!)

If you are interested, please send me an email at jeremybatesbooks (at) gmail (dot) com

Would love to hear from you!

And here’s is the blurb for the story (it’s based on true events):

During the night of February 1, 1959, in the remote reaches of Siberia, nine Russian hikers slash open their tent from the inside and flee into a blizzard in subpolar temperatures, most without boots or proper clothing. By morning all are dead, several having suffered gruesome, violent deaths. What happened to them has remained unsolved to this day.

Until now.

Albert Smith, an American true-crime writer seeking answers to the enduring mystery, sets out to retrace the hikers steps on their fateful expedition. However, nothing can prepare him for what he is about to discover…

PS: A movie was also made on the same topic a few years ago. I didn’t learn of it until a short while ago, but feel free to watch it – the plot is very different to my book…

Felicia Allen This is awesome news. I was wondering if you would continue the series... I have read the first two and loved them. If you need an ARC reader, I would love to volunteer.

Jonathan Looking forward to reading it!
I'd love to be a beta reader, but sadly I doubt I'd have the time to give proper feedback :(

Jeremy Bates Hey Felicia, sure, can always use ARC readers and will get in touch!

Noctvrnal Loved most of your books and stories and would love to give feedback on this one too, either as a beta reader or by being given an ARC! I hoped for you to write a story based on this incident and can't wait to read it!
