Hey Chris!

Hey Guys,

I'm home! I don't know how focused I will be on the self-portrait in the coming days, but tomorrow I will be starting a strict schedule. No GR or internet (gasp!) until I've finished my daily goals or it's 5:00 EST.

Eventually this will get me back into the 'work' mode.

If you are reading the "Book of Beginnings" over the coming weeks and want to ask me a question about a specific part, or point something out... you can use the 'status update' and start your message with 'Hey Chris'. Or send me a message, or an email.

I'll see it and respond (after 5:00 EST). ;)

Thanks for all the support so far. Can't wait to get things back in regular order and back on a schedule.

My next blog post will be on May 1st when I reveal that all the 'Endings' for the "Book of Endings" have been written. Spoiler Alert: it's going to happen! See you then.

Gabi GR is incredibly addictive, that's for sure! :) Hmm.. maybe I should follow your example. :D

Haha! I was supposed to be off already! This is worse than Wikipedia!

Gabi I'm obsessed with Urban Dictionary.
That's where I found the meaning of the word 'dunce' (I had to look it up, it wasn't in my vocabulary), and the explanation is hilarious. ;D

Now off you go, and do your thing! :)

annob [on hiatus] Weird, this blog post doesn't appear in my GR feed even though I follow the author page, and previous posts did show. Anyways, exciting to hear new writing is in the works!

Gabi They (whoever 'they' are) need to fix the bugs. That's what happened to me last time, I didn't even see when you liked, or commented on the post. Weird!

annob [on hiatus] Well, I just discovered more no-show comments made by you and Xia Xia yesterday on my own posts, so the bug is probably related to my account rather than Christopher's.

Gabi That sucks! :/ I think you're not the only one who experienced stuff like this. For example, when I review a book, it shows, that I read it twice. And I didn't. And it wouldn't let me delete it. So that's another bug. But it is, what it is.

Xia and the Giant TBR It has been happening to me as well for a week, neither of you appear in my feed immediately (except maybe after 3-4 hrs). Same with Chris's post, didn't see it (didn't even see it when Gabi commented the first time). I thought the "you read this two times" bug was annoying but this is more irritating.

annob [on hiatus] Thanks for your examples and bug timeline to show we are all affected by whatever this intermittent issue is. I've made a post in the bug forum to have the problem addressed by GR staff.

message 10: by Elena (new)

Elena Add me to the mix, apparently I've been missing a lot of reviews from my friends. More than once today I've seen them only because some other friend liked them and so they appeared on my timeline as well.
I agree with Xia Xia, this is way worse than the second reading bug.

annob [on hiatus] It feels wrong to say "I'm glad to hear" to you Elena, but at least I'm glad I'm not alone. :) Bugs that come and go are the trickiest ones to find and solve, but this sound like it impacts people feeds in a major way so hopefully it will be looked at with priority.

Christopher Sullivan Bahahaha.

Me: Eleven comments? What's everyone talking about!?

And here I was so happy that *everyone* read my book twice! What were the odds. ;)

The bugs are annoying. You'd think they'd take more care with social interaction stuff. This is a voracious community of like-minded people who generate high-value added content (insightful reviews)... something facebook has been searching for since its IPO. Why not treat it like gold?

Dunces. (And not the cute dunces--the dumb ones.)

Gabi Chris, in your case I don't mind if it shows that I read the book 2, 3, or even 4 times, cause it's kinda true. 😋 Not the whole thing, but I always go back to my favorite parts. One of them is the first kiss, and the breakdown scene, and when you guys go to the library, and when your parents met Alex...
Can I just say that this book is my favorite read of all time! 😍
