Rights for 24 Bones have reverted to me and I'm really excited. Why?

Because 24 Bones is one of my favourite novels--and it could be even better. So far I've cut 10,000 words from the first 25,000 words. That's a lot. Sure I've added in other places to ensure some of the plot elements follow, but essentially I don't give the reader much time to get orientated anymore.

If anyone is interested in reading the new version, I'd be glad to comp them a copy before it goes to the copy editor. My main concern is that it's a little too fast paced and I'd love to see what others think. I can guarantee a good read. What genre? I'd call it a thriller/fantasy. Lot's of magic, but present day and doesn't follow the tropes that would slot it in urban fantasy.
