The trouble with being an author is there's so much more to it than just the writing.

Last week I set up a new website https://djsworld.co.uk I've owned that domain name for years and have only used it for email. This week I did the tinkering to secure traffic to said website. Daft me assumed this kind of thing was automatic. We all know what people say about assuming things. I'm not as technical as I once was and rely heavily on a close friend and my husband for such things.

As I've said before, if I knew stuff, I'd be deadly.

Then what do I remember today? The Amazon Author Central account. I've done my bit, I've just got to wait for them to separate me from another DJ Cooper. I suspect we write totally different books. I suspect the other one is quite sane.

At least this time round in the self-publishing world I know one or two things more than I did two years ago with a pen name. I'm not kidding-I wouldn't put it at more than one or two things!
