ARC Post mortem

First of all, thank you to all the lovely ladies who accepted my invitation to become ARC readers. I will love you forever! Not mentioning names since they were all private invitations.

Forbidden started its life in 2013, and began as a funny story with a very dramatic ending. In fact, ending was changed thrice before its current form.

Since then I've half-written eight Forbidden novels more, plus a couple drafts that someday will turn into novels... hopefully. I can't even think of the way my writing evolved ever since. Once I established the Forbidden universe's rules, all was cruising from there. I can tell most of my mistakes very easily now.

However, the first novel shows many immaturity signs. Once I thought I was done correcting, pouf! My sight casually catches a mistake/phrase that could be better/ endless repetition of words, and I have to start again.

Perhaps somebody noticed my little activity recently, and it's because I was hunting down those ubiquitous mistakes. I'm really burned out and exhausted. (For those who will read my book, I feel like the construction worker from day 13). I'll be tomorrow online, but I think I'm going to take a holiday next week. I can't afford going out on a trip, but visiting the ecological reserve of my city and breathing some fresh air will help soothe my brain. And rereading some Agatha Christie's novels where I already know who the killer is. Ha! Or just about anything that doesn't involve correcting books.
