"Don’t try to adopt a style which doesn’t feel like yourself; your mask will slip as you work. Write, and find the voice, and then when you’ve found it, print it out and stick it up over your computer and look at it any time you’re in doubt. Let one good paragraph tell you how your writing should sound."
I don't mean to sound rude and this does have a point ... you have a friend Jim and he commented on Trenton Lee Stewart's blog post myself and 2 other people have been trying to figure out if this post was a coded message... we have been trying to figure this out for a couple days and we have gotten Jim to help us but we feel he isn't telling us the whole truth.... I have a couple questions cocerning Jim... Does he have a pet monkey? If so why did he name his monkey Chimchim? The most important question is, Is Jim Pseudonymous Bosch? (he/she is the author of The Name of the book is secret.) I look forward to your reply, thankyou and have a good day/night
This is wonderful- thank you so much for writing this! This is my second year of doing NaNoWriMo, and I'm cheating this year in that my first week was spent cutting the heck out of the 53K words I wrote last year, and I hope to have a complete, +80K-word first draft by the end of the month. So I guess I'm only writing 27K NEW words, but I want to get to my major wow moment. I doubt it'll be as "wow" as the reveal in TGAW, but really? What is? And I have space pirates instead of mimes, but we can't all do mimes.
