I just read the news, and it looks like Brett Kavanaugh will be the newest member of the US Supreme Court. Regardless of how he dispenses justice - and I’m not particularly optimistic about that point - the greater damage to the nation the message it sends to the abused women who rose up to support his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford. That their words will never be sufficient. That a wealthy white man’s entitlement is always greater than theirs.
