Listen to J.K. Rowling on BBC Radio 4’s Museum of Curiosity

The special extended edition of BBC Radio 4’s The Museum of Curiosity featuring J.K. Rowling went out over Christmas and is available to listen again as a BBC Comedy of the Week podcast until 30th January 2020. Listen here.

J.K. Rowling was joined by music producer Glyn Johns, comedian Shazia Mirza, curator Bridget Christie and host John Lloyd on the panel of the award-winning radio show.  In this Christmas Special edition of the programme Jo reveals what she would donate to the imaginary museum, and gives a fascinating insight into her creative writing processes.

Jacquelyn Fusco Very disappointed in Ms. Rowling's transphobia. Heartbroken might be a better word. She let so many people down with this. We grew up with her as a heroine and now she sounds more like a villain.

Rafael Gonçalves Well I'm not. She has her opnions, so? Transfobia would be if she was agressive and violent with a trans in the streets. I have nothing against her.

so in your mind the only "anti-" or negative comments that matter are if someone beats the shit out of someone personally? Someone making discouraging comments on their social media to their millions of followers doesn't count at all.

message 4: by Rafael (new)

Rafael Gonçalves No. If she told them they were this or that in a offensive way it was also transphobic. But she didn't. She just told what she thinks. Period. Society today has become this: If you don't play by their agenda, your work will go to nothing. It's really sad. I'm gay and I still love her and her work.

message 5: by Daniel (new)

Daniel Montiel So gay people can't be transphobic? lolol

Caoilo No thank you. I'd rather spend my time being an actual LGBT+ Ally. (Note to self unfollow this blog) To everyone else have a magical day.
