Hole Number 9. June 22

Philippians 4:6-7: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

I will admit, I am a planner.

I like to figure things out and move the chess pieces in my life accordingly, like a skilled Game Player.

So during this Pandemic, with the ever changing news and the constant unplanned updates about my life and job situation , I was aggravated and annoyed to try to figure everything out!

I was playing putt-putt with my husband one afternoon and I had an epiphany on hole Number 9.

Focus on the game you're playing. Focus in the Hole you are at.

If you are playing Hole 3, do not worry about Hole 11. Don't stress about how any future golf round looks or how messy it seems or how the future courses up ahead have a spinning windmill or a laughing clown blocking the ball.

Just focus on where you are at right now.

My need to control crashed and I became humbled to just take things one day at a time.

Play your own game. Breathe. Relax. and just concentrate on getting a hole in one in life! And then move on to the next hole, the next step, the next round, the next season, the next day, making it the best one yet!

If you need prayer for anything, let me know! I would love to pray for you!
