I mentioned on the podcast that I was creating an office in my downstairs bedroom. Now, before I get to the picture, I have to tell this story: I ordered my first desk in early May, and in mid-May I got an email that it had shipped. A day later I got an email telling me that it had no, in fact, shipped and it was back-ordered and would not receive it until September. September!

I canceled the order and purchased another desk. Now, I loved this desk. It had an antique/bohemian feel and the colors were gorgeous. I could not wait to put it in the room! Well, that one shipped in early June…and they lost it. As in, they had no idea where this desk was. So, that ordered was cancelled and I was refunded the money.

Onto desk three (all ordered from different companies).

I ordered the third desk and swore that if it did not get to me I would go into an actual store to buy it (which I was trying to avoid). On the day it shipped I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. It ended up being delayed a couple of days, but luckily I did receive it! Just a simple wood desk with metal legs. I really like it
