An Old Wizard Returns

Many years before I was Robin Hobb, I was Megan Lindholm. And one of my first books was an urban fantasy, set in Seattle, about a Viet Nam veteran who has become a street person. And the strange turn that his life takes after he meets Cassie.

After 35 years, Grim Oak Press is bringing Wizard of the Pigeons back into print. It will be a lovely illustrated hardback with art by Tommy Arnold.

And, to celebrate, there is a pre-publication give away, right here on Goodreads:

Mareike This is so extremely up my alley I can't even!

Mark Um, I'll have to pick up because everything else I've read of yours is great. In fact, I feel kind of spoiled. I'm trying to slog through a book from a newer author and am just not feeling it. I keep finding myself daydreaming and wondering when I can get back to your books.

C Johnson I still have this in paperback. Gives me a nice push to re-read it.

message 14: by LA Stevens (new)

LA Stevens Oh Robin if you only knew how much I have loved all your books including the ones from your earliest days. Fitz and the Fool such wonderful characterisation and fabulous storylines. You and Stephen Donaldson have captivated me for years! Patrick Rothfus is a new great among some of the new authors I now read and he has the kind of lyricism and beauty I loved in your work. As you can see I am no wordsmith unlike Stephen and yourself. Science Fantasy is a wonderful genre but only a few of you have real magic...

message 19: by Louise Burgess (new)

Louise Burgess Robin/Megan. I love your books. You have given me many hours of wondering what will happen next and will the ship make it through this trip. Thank you.

message 20: by Blair (new)

Blair Silverlock The Realm of the Elderlings series – ALL 16 books – are great literature. But where to go after Robin Hobb? I'm lost. I am struggling to find anything that satisfies as much. Perhaps Robin Hobb has spoiled the fantasy genre for me – although N. K. Jemisen is currently enticing me almost as much.

message 21: by Lina (new)

Lina Al-Midfa I have this and all your other works as Megan Lindholm, never got round to reading them but I bought them knowing I would read them someday (I've read everything by you literally everything by Robin Hobb) and have so many favourites doesn't happen with many authors. Thank you and can't wait for your next trilogy.
