Cursed Child Re-Opens in Melbourne
After 49 weeks of closure, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has reopened its doors at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre. The show had been suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions, but now with new safety measures in place it’s time to turn the theatre lights back on and let the magic begin again.
To celebrate the first production returning, the Melbourne company arranged a special surprise for the audience… Each audience member was gifted a wand as they arrived at their seats. As the curtain call completed, the cast invited the audience members, to join them in raising their wands up in the air to mark the show’s return.

Hello Ms. Rowling,I am a HUGE fan! I have read all your Harry Potter books twice now and I'm still continuing to read them. Your books and your writing has inspired me to try to write books myself. I started to write fantasy books, but I'm not sure if they are going to work out or not. I'm only 12 but I have big dreams to become an author. Any tips for writing?

@Kaylee S, DON'T stop dreaming, if you want to become an author that badly then you WILL. One of the most major tips that I can personally give you from experience is to read. READ A LOT OF BOOKS! Because you start to pick up new words, techniques for writing and new styles that help your work become just as good as any published author's. Don't give up, you'll get there. :)

Oh! My! Gosh!!!! I absolutely love the Harry Potter books and I'm like obsessed with the movies (even though the books are better because it gives more detail of course) but I haven't gotten to read the cursed child book yet and I'm super excited to! I'm especially excited to watch the cursed child. Ahhhhh! I have watched the movies and read the books so many times that I can't count them. I'm a huge fan too! I am reading the Harry Potter book for the first time (I'm on Order of the Phoenix) and, having seen the movies before, I have to say the books are way better because of all the detail!
Kaylee, don't stop dreaming! J.K. Rowling has inspired me to be an author as well! My ELA teacher is so proud of my work and I'm sure yours is too! We'll just keep on reading and writing and one day, we can become amazing authors, just like J.K. Rowling!
I would LOVE to have a book written in Draco Malfoy's point of view. It would give us more perspective on who is on the inside.Also, people are mentioning a book about the Marauders, which would also be really cool.
