Relax. Nov. 28

We are officially in the Holiday season and I just wanted to talk about the things you can do take care of yourself and ways to destress from the noise and clamor of the season.

Be aware of how you are feeling. You know yourself best. Set yourself up for success and make sure you are having a little healthy self-care, especially around the holidays!

My idea of fun is a day at the beach or at a theme park. I love staying in and watching a movie marathon eating junk food and staying in my pajamas. I like to stay the night at a Bed and Breakfast or sleep in late. I enjoy reading, especially when I can read by the pool uninterrupted.

I do not like exercising for fun, but my husband, Travis will go walking and running every night after work as a way to de-stress. He likes to play video games and watch youtube videos and let his mind relax. He also likes to take baths instead of a shower so that he can intentionally slow down and breathe before heading into the office.

What are your stress reliefs? What calms you down? What do you love to do? After a long day at the office, what do you turn to for relief? I’m asking you to do something for you - eat the cupcake and relax - to stay sane during this holiday season.
