The power of a positive will is a tremendous one, so you should live and think only in the present. If you use words like: “soon,” “one day,” or “in the future,” that is where your goals will always stay, several steps ahead of you in some indistinct future.

No matter how far ahead you go in the future, still those goals will remain one step further ahead in a likewise indistinct future because that is where you have willed them to be.

You should instead use words that bring them in the present, such as “I have,” “I am,” and “it is.”

“I will soon be rich,” does nothing for you.

“I am rich,” does.
