Amelia Fairbanks was raised in a cultured English society but her father reared her to ride and wield a firearm or sabre to protect herself. She was an expert and not afraid to take on any man who thought to threaten her safety or her virtue. When Amelia's mother passes, her father makes arrangments for her transport to Fort Pitt, where he was in residence as its Commander for the British Army. Three-quarters into her journey, her entourage is attacked by a marauding band of Mohicans. Amelia takes a defensive stand alongside her escorts, only to be the only one left standing and a fatally wounded warrior lying at her feet.
Odatshe is a Mohawk warrior driven by power that has led him down a path towards self-destruction. He is given but one chance to right his wrongs and regain the respect of his people and chieftain father. He must journey to a brethren tribe, the Cayuga, for further tutelage alongside their Warrior Chief. During his trek, he happens upon the end result of a deathly bloodshed where an enemy warrior lies fatally wounded at the hand of the most strikingly appealing and courageous woman he had ever laid eyes upon.
Life did not play out as planned. Will they surrender to what fate has in store for them or ignore what their hearts cry for and go their separate ways?
