Greetings friends! Connection came out in April 2022 after a long period of time where I wondered if it would ever come together. It's the follow up to Healer and I'd started it when I finished the original version of Healer...in 2012! As you can guess, a lot has happened during those 10 years, including the fact that I sort of learned to write? I knew next to nothing about writing fiction when I began writing in 2009, so when it came time to finish the second book, I had a lot of bad writing to unwork, and a lot of fresh ideas how to make the book even better! I called on my knowledge of cults (long story, check out my blog at www.rlmerrillauthor.com for more) and I spent a lot of time talking to my best friend, who is the model for Cassidy. She's a woman pilot who kicks ass and I'm so very proud of her. Being able to feature her skills and spark in the book was a dream come true!
